So much for creating an “inclusive” environment and ensuring all employees feel safe to speak up or be themselves. 50+ % of company not allowed to have their opinion or voice heard. So sad.

Just curious, what happened to make you make you post this statement? Where should they have their voice heard?

My child gets specialized treatment out of state and sometimes we need to be there for a few days. Do you think I’ll get my travel and lodging paid for now that the company will pay for the same for employees seeking an abortion? We tried getting his treatment in state and it’s specialized and set him back. Completely worth it to get it out of state just wondering if I can now expense that??

What Republican ideals do you want included? Replacement theory? White nationalist club? They are gonna take my guns club? End gay marriage club? you silly republicans need to grow up.
NNI is the shit when it comes to moving forward.

Of course not. They don’t give a fuck about you or anyone else. This is about greed. They’d much prefer to pay the $4k for travel, lodging, and procedure than pay the $100k for the birth and maternity leave of an employee. This is about money to NNI. Your scenario is going to cost them money no matter what. This new one is a way to save millions of dollars. They’ll probably throw in a $4-5k kicker for “emotional counseling” or something to incentivize employees to go the abortion route.

I’m not sure the Republicans are for any of those things that you mentioned, with the exception of the fact that they are, indeed, opposed to you taking their guns. The Constitution and the 2nd Amendment backs them up on that one. If you are pro-Constitution, you should support the same thing. If the Federal government can start trampling the Constitution, we have bigger worries than guns.

I get it that you don’t like them, but perhaps your dislike could be rooted in something true. And, “moving forward” for NNI seems to mean favoring individuals based upon the way they look - sounds like we’ve “moved forward” all the way to 1960. None of this is good - once a company quits placing value on accomplishments, character, and skills, that company will get worse.

I know you're comment doesn't really want a serious response...but I'll offer one.

I'm not a Republican, but instead I'm a Conservative/libertarian. Like most NNI employees , we'd like a company that acknowledged Conservative ideals. Specifically, how about sovereignty? How about respect for Law, like immigration law? What about individual rights..including the right to have a perspective or opinion that is counter to the Woke mindset, and to be allowed to advocate for that mindset, when it comes to school issues, healthcare etc? What about the simple idea that non-hetero lifestyles are fine, but are 'alternative' lifestyles?

This comment is clearly not approved by the WOKE ones. cancel is coming for you.

Looks like a reply that was acceptable to all. I tried by pointing out some specific differences, but didn’t make it. Well done.

you really think a woman or the child of an employee living in a red state going to a place that she can receive a safe abortion is some sort of super fun long weekend to trivialize? GFY

Who trivialized it? The poster is wondering why the travel of some employees will be covered, but his is not. He didn’t cast judgement or call anyone’s trip “fun”. But, his question is valid - is someone seeking an abortion somehow more important than someone with a sick kid?

It’s not that he doesn’t have care for his child locally; he just didn’t care for treatment options near to him. This is the complete lack of reproductive choice for hundreds of miles in most cases for a large number of women in this country. Novo is trying to do the right thing and he wants to punch down on women at this company by trivializing, yes trivializing, what’s happening.

Ask yourself, are you familiar with the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution? All the Supreme Court did was return the question of abortion to the states. It should be up to YOU and others in your state to decide whether or not abortion is legal. If you don’t like your state’s stance, then you are free to move.

BS. Go watch more Tucker, loser.

Moving is tough for people with the means much tougher for those without. But here's a gold star for essentially saying let them eat cake! I'm sure your free to move comment is very comforting to an 11 year old whose body might be destroyed by a pregnancy. 50 years of precedence gone because of lying justices. Companies all over this country are coming up with ways to help until liberals, moderates and any reasonable conservatives with spines left codify it federally. YOU can choose to work elsewhere if it bothers YOU so much.

You missed my point. All the Supreme Court did was rule on whether or not abortion was addressed in the Constitution. If Congress passes a law legalizing abortion and there is no legal issue constitutionally, then states cannot pass laws outlawing it. Until that happens, it will be up to the states to determine whether or not that state will allow abortions. It’s really that simple. If your state does not allow abortions, then work to elect people to represent you and similar minded people to make that change. We are a representative republic for a reason.

You sure about that? Do you really believe that Benevolent Uncle Novo just loves to give employees money when they don’t have to? Interesting. I guess your opinion of the people we work for is better than mine. I’ve been here nearly 15 years, and I realized a long time ago that they don’t give a fuck about me or you. The overturning of Roe v. Wade didn’t change that.
