Well....reliable sources in HO say 4-8 weeks before we are notified of the next round of layoffs. Obviously no big surprise. Hope everyone has their Plan B in order. Good luck to all!

No, Come On People. We should all wait to see if we get another drug, don't you think. I mean these guys are truthful and reliable. I just know these guys will think of me in the long run.
 






This isn't true at all. You think they would bring everyone in for training and then have a national meeting when they are planning on laying people off? Unless we hear that the national meeting is off for some reason I wouldn't worry.

HHMMMM, I recall a National Meeting at the Ritz in Atlanta and then 2 months later a layoff. there goes your theory dumbass.

So did your "reliable source" have any info about severance? Is it everyone else in commercial or just another force reduction?
 






Who gets paid to plant the "positive" messages in these posts? That's just to throw people off. They had a NSM in Sept, 2 months later a 1/3 of the entire comapny was gone. Look for another job. I wonder who in corporate is going to go?
 






Sorry, not buying it. There are still people bitter about November and some of them won't let it go and get on with their lives. That's the "reliable source", someone that hasn't been with the company in 4 months.

You know, there's ignorant, which can be excused to a point, and then there's dumb. Some of us have moved on past ignorance to abject stupidity. Given the events of the past year where we heard essentially the same things and something completely different happened, i.e., layoffs, how dumb do you have be to not at least rationally read the signs and plan accordingly?

You think bitterness is at the core of the posts here? Management's modus operandi is pretty clear at this point. I'm not saying believe everything you read here, but at the very least you should take notice of the past and stop crying about bitterness in a lame attempt to convince yourself that you're safe.

Amen. Do you think in this economy with all the layoffs and bankruptcies, EKR will actually go and spend millions to buy a drug. Not happening people. They are in Survival mode, just like all the other companies in this country. Depodud has not taken off, it will not take off. Cardene is just about over. So is EKR.
 












I guess we're supposed to assume that you are doing us a favor and providing this insight out of the goodness of your heart. Either that, or you're still bitter about getting let go. I wonder which is more likely. Why would someone still with the company be writing like this? Oh yeah, they wouldn't be.
 






Interesting thought! When is the sales meeting anyway? They had it planned around the HO spring breaks and now we don't know when it is. Maybe we aren't having one.

My RBM said a company outside the US is looking at us. Maybe we aren't officially "for sale" but if the price is right why would they pass it up? No one wants to sell DeadDur it's too much work just to get a sale and have more headaches after they start to use it. I don't think that the majority of us want to sell a drug we don't believe in.
 






I hear the lay offs are coming. They are starting in the home office. I heard that some people in HR and other areas are being laid off.

If we are being bought then they don't have to duplicate positions so they lay off.

I haven't checked in on you guys since the holidays. Sorry to hear that additional lay-offs are possible. I can tell you that is was a very positive thing that happened in November. I would not have looked outside of EKR unless forced out, but once out the light is bright.
I hope that all runs well as you go thorugh this. It is hard at first, there are positions and there are opportunities outside the industry. I was able to get a position in the industry the following Friday after the lay off. Pay was 5K less base per year but, my sales are incredible!
I will make as much in bonus as I make in salary this year. It restored my faith in my ability to sale.

You're the one who sounds bitter, my friend. It's such a relief to now be working for a company that has a future beyond next month. I took my severence check right to the bank and got a job right away. Getting double-paid and exiting the sham of a company that is EKR was one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
