Newbies at Ameritox-into sales call

They are hiring 27 yr old newbies who have not only 0 sales experience, but are overly-aggressive and ask Drs, "Why are you switching to x labs"

Then the Dr asks who are you again, make an appointment, I do not have time to talk with you, I am on my way to the surgery center in the hallway.

Next the Dr complains about Ameritox rep and inquires about training for the new lab. Done date and deal since Ameritox has no established relationships-they lose another account! Rep mentioned you have to to do 10.5 samples/day with our collector, better yet, clinic hires collector and account switches to my new company as an employee-love it Carol, will be repeating in your area. Another Carol and Paula micomanagement tool that FAILED.

Walk in and convert the business-in my new territory I have a laugh each day at the Ameritox newbies and their failures with retention of business.

Account will not see Ameritox-locked out is the ploy-come and get me! HA

Ameritox is one of the best companies to ever work for - I have been here 5 years. And as a matter of fact they are not under Medicare investigation and never were. Please do not post incorrect information as that is considered slander. In general it makes you look bad to make such comments.

5 years huh? what a loser! please stay there and don't come into our real world. slander slander slander slander! Try digging in a little deeper into your company before making judgement. What a sucker!
 






If your new company (Calloway) is superior to Ameritox, why are they offering $5k bounty's to bring over Ameritox' cast-offs. Every person that has gone there was on their way out of here anyhow.

FYI- if you recieve a bill from ameritox, don't pay it. I spoke with my physicians office and was told that is why they use this company. You will only be billed once then it is written off. Sound's like fraud to me. However, I am a medical social worker and made them aware of this fact. I told them no one in the physician's office gave me a choice of labs to make sure they were in network, nor was I told the name of lab being used or given a copy of their Privacy Policies. I will report this to my insurance company and Health and Human Services.
 






I am not an Ameritox rep, but I am in the same type of sales. Just to clarify a few things. Many companies write off a bill that is not paid not just Ameritox. Most companies do not publisize it and will never put it in writing, but since most Labs do the billing in house for the clinic they have full control of what they bill and how they bill etc. And why do you care if the Lab is in network? The drug screen is basically free. And you are at a place of business the clinic chose a lab company that is reputable why do you think you are intitled to chose a clinic. By the way when you became a patient the clinic had you sign a HIPPA Law waiver and some privacy agreement. Why not trust your doctor? So go talk to your insurance company I am interested to hear what they say. Better yet go to another clinic that bills you directly and then you will see how nice it is to write it off.
 






I heard they are losing alot of busines to AIT and Calloway because they are hiring reps that have truck-rental sales and no pain management experties.

To be a leader in this industry-got to have relationships and know after Ameritox Univ. what UDS means....25 year old reps you send out at 73K is failing.

Next step to destruction of your compamy is the Lifetree study of 20 HC patients-I love this study since it has been shought down by all of the experts in pain, never been published or ever proven-what is so interesting is the ranges from the concrolled patient population, with different data and the range was from 1,600 ng/ml to 7,800 ng/ml-thanks for the extra selling piece to throw your crappy unpublished data under the bus-got 7 new accounts since Ameritox reps are incapabible! Bills and co-pays and deductibles-then all of the compalaints about Ameriyox bills-and then all of the government investigations of Ameritox...............

To be quick...I am a rep in the same industry and was looking at this as I am going up against Ameritox today. I work for the absolute best lab in the industry right now and guess what, I am the 25 yr old rep that you so bash. Turns out I am one of the top reps in the region and continue to grow. Age has nothing to do with anything my good sir. It's all about knowledge and helping patients/ clients on a day-to-day basis.

Actually the "older" reps are lazy and not as hungry.....pharma spoon fed them too much!
