What are the typical benefits for Forest Reps?
1. What type of car
2. What do they match 401k/profit sharing, etc.
3. Cell phone / allowance
4. Insurance
5. 10 years with previous pharma - what type of salary to expect?
6. Other benefits to working with Forest.

Thanks!

If you have 10 years exp. and you are interviewing for a position other than a territory rep, you can expect a comparable salary to other companies. If you are interviewing for an entry level territory sales spot, nobody cares about your experience. It probably works against you. You can expect a base of 55-58k, a ford escape or fusion, great overall benefits/profit sharing, 2 weeks vacation until after 3 years, and a variable bonus of 2-10k per quarter. The culture greatly varies by region.

70k? Ridiculous. 58k or 60s with inventiv. The prior post is correct. Your experience will not make a difference in your compensation if it is for a territory rep spot.

Car options can change but Fusion or Escape are recent choices. You also may inherit a car from a rep who quit or was fired and then not be able to order until the three year lease is up. Regarding negotiation, if it is for a territory spot there is little to no room for negotiation.

The culture of ignorance and greed is horrible nationwide and does not vary by region....buyer BEWARE!

Reps with experience can get salary in mid to upper 70's and 3 weeks vacation. Vehicles are a negotiation. Health benefits are pretty standard.

This post is not true. I had prior experience and took a HUGE paycut. If you are taking a territory rep job (not specialty) - expect something in the 50's. Oh and you get 5 days vacation after you have been there for 6 months. That is a fact Jack! After 1 year, then you get 2 weeks vacation. The health benefits suck if you go the deductible route (cheaper option) - you have to pay out of pocket on your prescriptions and meet your deductible before you see any benefit! That is right - no co-pay on drugs if you pick that option. The other option, very expensive for what you get, unless you have a big family and are getting a bargain (or have a lot of health problems). Also, expect to pay for your own paper and ink pens too - no joke! If you have been somewhere else, you will likely hate it at Forest.

10 years of previous pharma and you are looking at Forest? Man you must have really fucked up along the way. This not a company that endorses or looks for experience, actually Forest strongly goes after and hunts the newbie sheep who know nothing to compare reality against. 55K is top end of the salary band. If one thing can be said Forest has been really smart for decades now about not paying for help. They have stooges lining up in the bleacher seats for these 50k catering jobs....sad man, really sad. Then the rep catches on, wakes up, and quits. Forest could care less. That is why the DM's are typically washed up or never had any managerial or seasoned experience in this field. They are told to buy a new JC penny suit and follow orders, the DM's at forest make mid 70's.....that is a fact, and a joke within itself.

It is truly a great business strategy that forest applies. Can't fault them for taking advantage of the idiots who goo on these jobs and think they are getting a sweet deal at forest, I blame nobody but the new hire for their own carnage. Forest is pretty clear about paying the industries lowest wage and requesting and requiring a 6 month probation on all new hires. The company car is standard grade, forest feels that you should be kissing their behind for giving you a downtrodden rep beat up used vehicle with your 50k base. If you complain or dont like it, keep it low profile as the DM's here are trained as puppets to try and snuff out the malcontents. U were warned. Do your research and dilligence before coming on board here.

Great take. The car I got was pissed stain and vomit smelling. The previous rep was LOC and worked out. The offices however loved him but the manager thought he was a "independent" thinker. Meaning he had a pair and do not conform. I needed a job, unemployed for over 8 months, beggars cannot be choosers in this industry. I let my kids use the forest car for weekends and day trips. The training by the way was awful, I felt like a 7th grader a camp but with a chain on my leg and a roommate who was about as creepy as the weird uncle at thanksgiving, grinning and eating cheez pufs in the corner. The bs on here about catching the "train" to the city is the biggest bunch of shit I have read. You are in night session study groups, the bus from the HO runs late and you are at the facility from 6 am to 6pm, then night study tables, not one person left the hotel the entire time we were there, if someone did they were "talked too" the next day.....keep your head on swivel at training, someone is always watching you.
