New RSM promoted from territory manager. Member of the good ole’ boys club. His territory is #1 with having several speakers on payroll and access pretty good. All the recently promoted RSMs are new so I don’t know how he would be except they are all going to want to make a name for themselves.

Do they open these up for internal and external to interview for or are they just given as a promotion without considering multiple candidates?

Leadership said it was open to both internal and external but they knew who they wanted in the ASD and RSM roles. They posted jobs and wasted a lot of candidates’ time with fake interviews. Same with TM positions, especially in the West.

The new ASD promoted TMs to be RSMs who happened to be all from his Church, same religion. Wouldn’t hire anyone that wasn’t safe faith.
