New reps with no experience got a pay bump to 70K base in recent merit increase

In the 2021 merit increase - all new reps with little to no experience received a substantial base pay increase getting them all to 70K, regardless or merit or experience.
Meanwhile, reps who have put in years of work and earned their merit increases over time, were just given the normal 2 to 3% CPI increase.
Apparently it is a new HR policy. So congrats, your years or proven experience and knowledge is not valued here at Amarin and you are worth the same to the company as new hire who has ZERO pharma experience.
 


















To be fair, reps with zero experience start out at at least 85 at any self-respecting pharma company, with a car, 4 weeks vacation, solid 401k match. Amarin is a fake pharma company.

It's not going to matter much longer anyway.
 






Our bases are low...agree should at least start at 78 -80 for new reps!! But Amarin is great company to work for
Yes I completely agree on the car, it sucks or should at least give 650 allowance/ mileage or gas card!! Even contracts give company cars, so this is wrong !!
Our bonuses are the best in the industry
