Big Pharma has already popped up on the silver screen with last year’s Love and Other Drugs and the forthcoming Pharm Girl, starring Reese Witherspoon. Now the same genre makes the leap to TV sitcom with an ABC’s fall series. The comedy sitcom follows two men who dress up like women to get jobs as pharmaceutical sales reps.

Big Pharma has already popped up on the silver screen with last year’s Love and Other Drugs and the forthcoming Pharm Girl, starring Reese Witherspoon. Now the same genre makes the leap to TV sitcom with an ABC’s fall series. The comedy sitcom follows two men who dress up like women to get jobs as pharmaceutical sales reps.

That makes sense. Pharma sales is a woman's job.

I too saw that there is a new sitcom about two dudes who get into pharma. Jesus. If that isn't another nail in the coffin of pharma sales I'm not sure what is? I don't blame reps,mgrs,etc. Upper management at the home offices have to understand that a person with the IQ of 10 could do this job and possibly do it better. That goes for all pharma/bio-tech,etc. People want these jobs still because there's no accountability. Pay folks 40k and reward them on their sales. Oh yeah, no one knows if the numbers are accurate. Good gig, but it makes anyone with any ambition feel hollow. Great job for working mothers however.

This job is a working mothers nirvana. Time to drop little Tiffany and Crystal at the childcare then get back to drop them off at dance or singing lessons by 2:00. Can't wait to hear them sing.."Tomorrow...Tomorrow."
