Replacing reps. Kowa does not pay very well so we tend to attract good salespeople looking to break into pharma and retreads that flamed out elsewhere. Either way they don't tend to stay long. The good ones move on to higher pay jobs and retreads get put on a PIP and move on to their next job where they pretend to go to work everyday.

My question was not to get anyone mad. I met some of the Florida Reps and was just concern. They all seemed to be hard workers and dedicated to their territories.

I know one rep was put on a PIP - Great guy that just got a bum rap with a lame-ass company and products that docs didn't want to write or couldn't write (managed care issues). Plus, his manager got him banned from a few key offices by being so pushy and desperate. It really sucked because this was a good rep that was very successful at previous jobs. I heard he got out of the industry altogether and is very happy.
