Probably won't see a bare metal from BIO for a few more years, and that's assuming that the FDA approval process remains unchanged in a "post-Durata/Riata" recall world.

BIO will train their current field force and also attempt to pull interventional folks from existing manufacturers.

Biotronik just had a lawsuit thrown out of court against Cordis, although they appealed. They aren't to fond of JJ.

Not going to happen. Privately owned from the beginning and Max will never sell. That's 45+ years and no need to sell now when they are just starting to gain more market share around the world. It's more about pride and legacy.
