Totally embarrassing. Why would company hire contract reps (most likely with no oncology experience) for an oncology position? Is the pay low? Products bad? Short term contract?

What? You don’t think company downsizing hasn’t hit the Oncology world yet? There’s plenty of good experienced Oncology reps looking for work. Probably a biotech startup looking to break into the market. If the drug takes off, it could be a great opportunity to cash in. That’s the mentality of an Oncology rep, not your primary care slanted way of thinking it’s a bad gig. Go sell an antibiotic!

Salary is 140,000 plus bonus. Car allowance.

Do not apply to this company. This is the worst run sales company on the business. Not enough time to say how awful it is here. They hold bonuses, tons of busy work that means nothing. No administrative days but they want everything on time and perfect. They will always make you feel like your job is on the line I’m even if you are doing a great job. The contract is with Janssen would tumor. That group is just as bad. Managers are just plain bad. Run as far as you can unless you are going to foreclose on your home. You have been warned.

I agree. Janssen stinks!
