New Latuda Patent is Garbage

Thing was filed in 2014, three years after we launched (WTF?) and covers a method of use to treat a patient with lurasidone without gaining weight. We are trying to block generics with a patent on a method of use we are not even indicated for. Also doesn’t cover the 160mg dose. Generics will carve around this thing without even trying. Whoever thinks this is holding up to 2024 is a fool.

Are you all idiots??!! Read the analysts information on any investment or legal website. This is a ploy but a ploy that works. There is no way it will keep the patent till 2024, but it will give us at least 6 months to maybe 9 months while it winds through the courts. I worry that an aggressive generic company like teva or malinkdrot will launch at risk to get a head start on the others. Launching at risk for a patent scam as weak as this one is may be very likely. If that's the case, many of us will be out of jobs come September :(.

Welcome back, haven't seen you in a while. We assumed (and hoped) you finally found a new job and started spewing your negativity on their site already. Bummer...
