New Incentive plan

My guess is for the 71% of us who got screwed on Bonus, there may be a little junk in the box. Not to mention reps are leaving like flies. And a few more I hear are going to jump soon..

You didn't get screwed, you didn't produce.

That's why the comp plan was changed, right? Everyone produced except maybe a few people. Now it is at least more fair. It still isn't great measuring syringe count instead of share change, but it is a start.

I'm disappointed they didn't go back and fix S1. That would have really impressed me.

Understand. But how many companies retroactively change bonuses? And how many lower goals by 30% 2 months into a campaign? In any industry? Never happens.

True, and it is a start, but the quota system needs to go into effect asap, because it will indoubtly benefit the ones already benefitting..

Benefitting from what? Good selling? For those that argue that each territory is not equal - you're right. But the reps aren't equal either. That's why some are doing really well and others aren't. Sure, some of the high syringe territories have some KOLs using the product, but many others don't. Why is it fair to penalize a high syringe territory just because they have sold well and got out to a fast start? This isn't China; it's the US, where capitalism prevails.

So your saying the Rep in San Fran who came over on a boat, and we heard in sessions presenting is a top performer and the best salesman??? You are the one who doesn't get it.

That's one rep. You can't make a bonus plan based on one outlier. I do get it. There are 450+ reps. And who cares if that "rep" from SF "came over on a boat" and sold a bunch of product. Does that make them a bad rep. Poor argument. They just have great relationships. And use them to sell. That's a big part of selling, right?

Came over on a boat - he is one of our own and you are saying that. You have issues.
He is good, he is using whatever he has (ethnic and/or relationships) to sell. He is developing the situation to his benefit (and last time I checked his numbers help the company). Could he be as successful in my territory NO, but guess what I would not be as successful as him in his territory. I am pretty sure when we were hired, nobody said that everyone would be making the same amount of bonus.

Ask yourself how much should you be getting paid on each syringe? Lets say your salary is 120,000. Throw in the car (7,500) and 401K and insurance (12,500). This brings you to 140K - way on the low end. Not even including the other cost of goods sold, with Prolia being 825$ - you need to sell 170 to even make or match your salary.
So lets have that be the gate - you don't start making additional money until you cover your comp.

How long do we have to listen to the incessant, inane ramblings of so many whiny former pod people? If you bitches don't like it, leave! But you won't because it's far easier to be lazy and complain. Enjoy Labor Day, it was created to celebrate the efforts of those who work hard, clearly not your holiday but it's another paid benefit in your large portfolio of perqs.
