When you're a relatively female new hire, and asked to be a co-speaker out of town (which by the way, your boss is not the keynote speaker). What does that really mean?

Typically it means he thinks you're impressionable and a suspected easy lay. At least that's the way it was years ago and that sterotype was spot on with a past co-speaker. If you have any self esteem at all....just say no.
