New Gyrus Product

I was told by my Gyrus friend, that he was at a lab last week on their new energy technology. It was a bust. The new bipolar-ultrasonics did not do anything more that our LigaSure or the harmonic. No need to worry here. Covidien may have its problems but at least our shit works!

mis information , I just spoke with a Dr who was invited to the secret lab they had , he told me the instrument he used was impressive , very impressive . He is from chicago, and i met him socially when he was in vail on vacation . He told me he is a loyal LIGGY baby, but the gyrus widget was impressive enough that he would use if it performs as it did in the lab . I am a little concerned since this will be an Olympus product and not gyrus

Amazing, how info here flows. We just got FDA for the combo ultra/ligasure handheld instrument. My fellow Covidienites we are about to leap frog the market and finally take away the harmonic strong hold, they have had too long. Also Gyrus/Olympus who? Non players as they always have been. We will continue our dominance. Whiners leave now, no place for you in this organization, so stfu.

And then Ascent/Sterilmed will come in six months later and reprocess our ultra disposable. I can hardly wait. Those guys have been eating up the Harmonic marketshare over the last couple of years and they'll come after us just like they do EES.

Also, check out your Harmonic accounts and see how many reprocess those devices. You honestly think that an account that reprocesses Harmonic with little or no complaint from the surgeons will want to start buying our capital/disposables when the reprocessed Harmonics cost less? They already have the generators and handpieces, why would they want to buy ours at an additional cost?

Mark my words, we might take away some marketshare from EES but Ascent/Sterilmed will take it back from us.

Gyrus reps still make more much more than us . My roomate from college is an independent with them and he paid more in taxes than i made which was over 120
