Did anyone look at their goal attainment last night? What a joke for both products! Talk about demotivating when I looked at it...It is on average 20 scripts higher for Vyanse per week than I have ever hit with that product. Intuniv is 15 scripts higher on average per week of a goal that I have only hit 1 or 2 times in the past year...What is Shire thinking coming out with this? I thought it was supposed to motivate and encourage and not squash me from wanting to do anything extra...I calculated what Market Share Growth for both products what Shire wants me to hit this quarter and it is close to 3% which is riduculous...The bonus better be $25k for that type of growth...

Anyone elses thoughts on theirs?
 






Same thing here...Crazy goals that make me want to just do my job and not care too much...This will not be good for the feeling of reps so I have no clue why Shire is doing it...Either they are out of money to pay us bonus' or they want to keep more for themselves...This just does not seem like the way Shire does business...Wierd
 






they are not out of money, they are making more than they ever have. Profits on vyvanse, Adderall xr, Intuniv. More money than when they just had Adderall XR and Daytrana. wierd
 






Shire just does not want to pay as much anymore so that they can save more for all of their corporate hires...They say it is to make it more even so on average poeple make more $...That is BS...On average most of us will not hit our goal attainment...THANKS A LOT SHIRE...This ends an era of good bonus potential as we know it...Have fun everyone getting your $500 bonus checks every 3 months...After it gets taxed you may have enough to pay for a tank of gas or two!
 






They just want you to be grateful you have a job and use that as fear going forward...They want to be able to get everyone documented with not hitting a goal so that if they ever need to fire you or let you go they have that going forward...Don't you get why they are doing the quota system? It is to be able to can you when ever they want going forward...Market shares are high enough now that Shire does not care abut you growing the product...THEY WANT TOTAL CONTROL!
 






Control is only controlled by the opinion of the person who feels they are in control. All one can do is control what they can control, as long as they can control it. The results are in the control of the control obtained. Dont forget...Always take advantage of the opportunity to gain control.
