I just noticed an ad for a PDI flex rep in my area in SC -- having been out of pharma for a year or so and working a job I hate, I'm interested.

I worked flex 15 years ago and was paid $28/call with 38 calls/week. Complete 1099 -- and I loved every minute of it. It was a sweet deal and I realize there isn't any kind of pay like that now.

What is the avg flex pay these days?

Where did you find a job paying 28.00 per call??? I work for pdi and being paid 19.00 per call?

Like I said, it was 15 years ago. It was a BMS contract -- Monopril, Cefzil, Stadol Nasal Spray, an anti anxiety drug. I'd drop off my cards one day and go back and pick them up the next day or day after. Never worked more than 3 hours/day, 4 days/week. It was heaven.

ahhh - BuSpar - the good ole azospirenedecenedione - probably spelled it wrong, but could say it in my sleep...good products all.
LOL - I do remember those days of "dropping off cards" in key offices and picking them a few days later....good days.....sigh.

Is this a serious post? How could you work only three hours a day? This must be a troll response? I am being paid 19.00 per call and must show less hours a week than I do work? We log our hours into salesforce- I believe it is because if we work too much they would have to supply me with health insurance ( which my family does not have) my manager gets health insurance

Touchpoint Publicis reps (flex time) start at $28.00 per call. We have had several raises and most of us are making approx. $32.00 per call. We are entering our 4 year on the Nasonex, Asmanex contract. We are expected to make 24 calls per week so when you hit your 24 calls you can call it a day. You definitely can pull off working only a few hours every three days. I was just seeing if it was better over here at PDI, but I guess it's better where I am.
