Good luck with this one. This was a tough sell BEFORE we had to tell the docs to stop writing it. Now they were scared away and new limits on the drug prevent combo use with ARBS and ACES. And by the way ARBS and ACES ( or diabetics) are the only drugs the MCO like, especially once Diovan goes generic in about 3 months.

This will be a joke
I worked for Novartis, sold this drug and while it may have done well in certain areas, the drug is a dog and will be very hard to get any Dr to RX this due to limitations on who can use it.

Where do you see calls in the PDA? I thought we were going to have training mid June for this new product and launch in July. Anyone know what's going on?

Tekturna is not a "bad" product! It is a very effective drug at reducing high blood pressure. Many physicians loved using this drug to treat their hypertensive patients and were extremely disappointed when the promotional activities by Novartis were ceased.
It is my understanding that only the physicians who still currently write Tekturna will be targeted (and there are many), so it's not as if you will be trying to sell this product to people who don't want to hear about it.
