New Comp Plan = Resignation







Is it just me? Or did our executive team just create a plan forcing RSM’s to work for free? Anyone else given a goal to grow their territory by 82%.... or NO commission??? RUN!!!!!

The worst day of my life was yesterday!
I HAD to watch my children cry last night when I told hI'm I won't have the money to send them to the school and be with the friends they love!!

Massive quota increase$ lost a good account$ running total$ once behind quota you catch up$ No ramp $
No chance at commissions this year$ No money or budget for school $$

Glad Steve and other mgmt get to live at the Lowes drink expensive beer smoke cigars and complain about slow service!

So glad I resigned when I did! This is so unfortunate for all the sales reps who actually have the client relationships and bring in the $ to keep the company in business. Do they not realize they need to keep their salesforce to maintain and grow business? Sounds like the ship has finally sank and they are trying to eliminate reps through unattainable goals. Are the managers getting cuts in pay like the sales reps?
 






reps in the south east area need to run fast.... merging companies and aegis reps are over paid so other (companies) reps (or new) will take over... weeding out the old for new blood/new faces... don’t say you weren’t warned!

Does it say your 82% growth has to be insurances that pay or just volume? If it’s just volume go get self pay and medicaid business that other tox companies do not want. Your company was probably smart enough not to set a goal purely on goal though. If they did give them the self pays they are asking for. Good luck!
 






I agree with the Southeast being the strongest in our company; however, with the merging of reps, most of us make more than new hires based on tenure. When we join forces, the higher paid reps are going to be "pushed out." Why do you think they changed our plan to a ridiculous number? So we decide to bury our heads and leave on our own!... they pay new reps less for inherited business, OR hire someone at a lower base given the huge 2018 cuts. This isnt my first merge and "may the best rep win".. or in actuality, the cheaoer rep. If you don't believe me, think about or new hires.. they want new reps, out for new blood that they can hire cheaper than us reps that actually know what we are doing and have client relationships. Ive been told "Aegis is a sinking ship" for years, but now I believe it... never thought I would miss the good ole Dr. Black days.

Im not sure, a ton of HR is leaving; a friend of mine during his exit interview with HR made a comment about why he was leaving (pay/goals etc) and essentially got the vibe 'its only going to get worse" then that Hr person and 2-3 other left soon after. Since Dr. B left the company has been going down, hence why he isnt involved anymore... the new "board" is trying to diversify to find an area to make more money (outside of tox) b/c 2018 rates are slashed worse than they were a few years back. the new CMS rates will make you sick. I can't provide for my family with those revenue goals and the cuts they are making.
 






they are for sure trying to get rid of the tenured reps... the goals say enough. I’ve heard rumors of selling, but more about also acquiring another company that would expand our services outside of Tox.. Tox reimbursements are next to nothing so we need to expand our brand... so merging the two teams basically would be Tox rep vs new company rep...
 






The revenue goals are unobtainable for certain regions anyway when there are no new insurance contracts gained. It doesn't matter how much we diversify if we are still out of network with several big name insurance plans.
 






Leave and let your relationship clients know why. They will follow you. They are committed to you not Aegis. This will be fun competing against the inside sales team. What a joke!

After the sales meeting, it's definitely time to OODA Loop out of this company.

We spent a whole week in that stupid conference, and not once did the topic of commission come up. Not only was it the big ass elephant in the room, but corporate's perception was "everything seemed fine". It's tough to work for a company who diminishes the success of the money generators. I used the conference to determine if I was going to stay... or go. Once I got home, I started scheduling interviews. Wont be long before everyone one is gone, and corporate is wondering what happened. I wonder if Dr. Black has started up another lab? I wonder if he is hiring?
 






We spent all week at that stupid conference, and not one Executive, NSM, or ASM brought up the topic of commission. I must have missed the meeting where apparently "Sales" doesn't like to talk about "Commission". It was the big ass elephant in the room, and NOBODY brought it up. Everyone is drinking from the company cool aid. Hey upper management... YOU DONT HAVE A JOB WITH OUT SALES!!! I was shooting off resumes before the conference was over. It's too bad, I actually believed in this company once.

If David Black did start another lab, run from that one too. Don’t think for a second that he didn’t doom this ship and not understand what he was doing at the time. I guarantee he never gave two shits about anyone here.
