New Challenge for Nobel Reps

Just another desperate move on the part of Niznick. If this was a truly an independent, or government agency finding I would be worried. Since it is blatantly a competitive plant, I would ignore it. Niznick is going to end up getting himself sued again like he did back in the 1990's. By the way he lost that lawsuit and it cost him millions. Hopefully the same happens soon. There is no credible information on his website, concerning his implants or any other companies. He is a desperate man looking for anything to grasp a hold of to discredit the good reputation of the companies that are keeping him from being successful.

I think you need to check your facts. The lawsuit Nobel had with Dr Niz ended in a victory for camp Niznick. It was over a patent. Face it, Dr Niznick just tells it how it really is. The large companies can’t handle anyone saying that what they sell is anything but “cutting edge.” The link above is real information. Nobel should be concerned.

I doubt that Nobel is concerned. When you are number one everyone takes shots at you. This is the case here. Desperation on the part of Niznick, as usual no real effect on the business. If this is the best Niznick can come up with you know he is hurting. I am sure the 35 years of clinical success with Nobel Implants won't be undone by the biased "clinical" information on the ID website. My money says Nobel will continue to excel.

If the FDA gets involved, nobody is relaxed about it. The only question is if the FDA will get involved or not but I do not see how they can not at least do some type of investigation.

By law the FDA has to conduct an investigation. Can you imagine if the FDA requires Nobel to recall all the product sitting on Dr.s shelves?

I would be worried if I was a Nobel rep. It will probably take a few weeks for the FDA to take a look at this, so we will just have to wait and see.

Anyone remember Dow Corning? $3.2B Class Action settlement, Bankruptcy - and the FDA never issued a recall on their silicon breast implants. Wait until the PI attornies get a hold of this. They will be advertising on TV for anyone who had a failure with Nobel Implants, and any doctors who place them after reading the reports posted on Implant Direct's website could be named also. This could be a game changer. Nobel may not be able to put Humpty Dumpty back to gether again. Every rep for a competing company will be talking about it and the Nobel reps will be so busy deflecting questions and returns, they won't have time to negotiate discounts.

I think you have it backwards. If you read the narrative, apparently Nobel threw the first stone by hiring a former Implant Direct manager to try to get Health Canada looking at Implant Direct. How desparate was that? What happened was that Nobel took a knife to a gunfight and Niznick fired a shot back that may prove to be very damaging.

Niznick is such a "playa" that he decides to announce his amazing discovery of tainted Nobel packaging on Cafe Pharma. Real game changer. This will go no where, there is no systemic issues with Nobel's packaging, it is the most rigorous in the world, and exceeds FDA standards. Desperate measure by desperate people, that is what is happening here. One report brought to light by a competitor is not enough to evoke any sort of an FDA investigation. Implants fail for many reasons, and unless Niznick or the government is able to connect the failures, which is almost non existent, to this supposed packaging issue, there is nothing to worry. Every company has implant failures, and even when they fail rarely if ever is there permanent damage or harm to a patient. There needs to be damages in order for a lawsuit to be filed, and eventually won.

would not want to be a nobel rep at this time... even the hint of a sterility issue will have every money hungry lawyer in the country on tv announcing a class action suit.. and alot of po'd doctors wanting to ship back their inventory.. then the doctors will be initiating their own class action suit against nobel too....hmmmm... what a dirty mess to try to explain to your customers... feel bad for you...fda will be required to investigate and if they don't here comes more laywers....I guess the rep in Canada should have kept her mouth shut...

I think you miss the point. It is not whether the lack of sterility is causing failures - that would be hard to say for certain what caused a particular failure. The point, as I understand it, is when a company labels its products as maintaining sterility for 5 years but can not prove that its containers stay sealed after the initial radiation, it has mislabled the products which is a violation of the FDA. Would you buy a quart of milk if the container was not sealed?

Of course I would buy a gallon of milk if the seal was broken, if it was discounted, why not? When was the time a human being in the United States died of a milk borne disease, like hoof and mouth disease? 1895? No one knows where the jerk off Niznick got this implant container, if he tampered with it, all the usual bullshit attached to anything Niznick does. Nothing ever changes. What do you conspiracy theorists think? That Nobel is purposely injecting their implant packages with a dye so they can somehow effect the.....it makes no sense. This is a scheme as the many before from Niznick tried and failed to bring Nobel down. He is desperate he is failing.

Don't think the piece of human shit, Niznick is not being effected by the economy. He is loosing over a $1 million a month. I worked inside and I know for a fact that it is a bloodbath, and he doesn't know how to stem the losses. He keeps trying to give more and more implants away, but the doctors never reorder, and figure a way to get a bunch more for free. First rule in marketing school-never give your product away to try and sell it. NEVER GIVE YOUR PRODUCT AWAY TO TRY TO SELL IT. It is suicide. Niznick, never went to business school and he has the marketing skills of 4th grad special ed kid. Horrendous website. Embarrassing is a better word for it. But since HE thinks it looks good it stays. I am so glad I am out of there.

Just sign me.

Daisy. Niznick knows what that means,

I don't give a shit either way here. From the cheap seats though, this looks like a nice big headache for Nobel reps and an easy seed of doubt for competitive reps to plant. Anybody that thinks otherwise isn't being intellectually honest and they're letting their emotion cloud common sense judgement. I read this complaint before Niznick included it in his newsletter. Tear down Niz all you want, if only because it makes you feel better to ignore the message and instead attack the messenger.

Daisy... Do you think that it is possible that you were terminated because of your poor spelling and grammar? Or maybe you could not comprehend implant technology.
I think you should contact a few of your old co-workers to get your facts straight..Implant Direct is making money, sales are way up... more than 50% growth in the past year.

No, I don't think my spelling was a reason why I left Niznick, I left because he was abusive towards me. As far as a 50% increase over last year. A company can increase sales by 50%, that has nothing to do with the cost structure or profits. If costs increase by 75% then the 50% growth is not very relevant is it? Most start ups experience double or triple digit growth early on because the basis, i.e. the prior year's sales were zero or close to it. So, your argument really doesn't hold much weight for people like me in accounting.

Hope that helps you sales reps understand. Another disturbing factor and it is related to cost basis, is the massive turnover of sales reps at Implant Direct, almost 70%. Anyone who knows how to run a business understands the cost of the constant cycle new hires, retraining, does not add to revenue, and builds poor good will among clients. There was time when 75% of the sales force had left-all within a 2 week period. So there is more to meets the eye at ID.

People who speak up are often times deemed a problem. Niznick is a jackass but also an innovator. His competition hates him, past employees hate him (usually because they couldn’t handle getting ragged on for being lazy or incompetent) but he still drives on. Niz has released great products and if you dispute that, you are being kept in a very small box that proves your ignorance. Many companies in this industry make a viable product. Many of the companies in this industry have solid reps who know what it takes to grow territories and properly service their customers. Unfortunately, there are not many companies or reps who have the ability to see greatness and acknowledge it for what it is. Instead, many of you get on this site to piss and moan and bash everyone and everything.

If you actually take the time to read the link from the OP above you just might learn something. After reading it consider the financial and professional ramifications of faking this test just to get back at Nobel. The HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of dollars that Dr Niznick could be liable for if it were determined that he faked this test is a risk even the arrogant Dr Niznick wouldn’t take. Don’t be stupid thinking he or anyone else with a lot at stake would stoop to that.

If it were determined that this study was a fake Dr Niznick could lose everything. This is a man that regardless of how you feel about him (although .05% of those who post they hate him have actually met the man) he is still a family man. Like the vast majority of us, he would not risk the income his family relies upon by making costly false accusations.
I have met him and can say that he is self serving and arrogant. However, as much as I hate to say it, Dr Niznick appears to have put a chink in Nobels armor. Now it is up to the FDA to validate the MedWatch Report (posted on the link above).

I can't imagine the FDA will do nothing about this. That would give the appearance they are bought and paid for by big, bad Nobel with deep pockets. It is their obligation to look into this matter.

As for the poster who says they were a previous accounting employee.....in addition to startups having double and triple growth they also experience a great deal of change. This will lead to turnover. Niznick is an ass but he was not the one who hired those reps. He was just the one to make sure the piss poor reps went away. Such is life. Many companies keep substandard reps too long waiting to put them through additional training or going through the write-up process so they can justify not paying them unemployment. That too costs companies new and old a lot of money. How many reps who are getting paid to work a territory are reading this right now at home in their bunny slippers doing no work at all today? A bunch! Niz, like any other worthwhile business person can sniff these reps out quickly. Like you.....person from accounting!

Haha, another dolt making ridiculous claims of growth at ID.

What did sales grow from? 50% of what? Growing from $100k to $150k isn't anything to get excited about.

Give us the actual sales dollars, not pathetic, inflated percentages.

You can go on Implant Direct's web site and watch on 5 cameras, a room full of machines operating 24/7. Do you really think they would be producing products at such a high level if they it were not being driven by sales? Companies like Bluesky, BioHorizons, Keystone and others do not even make their own products. Since it is a private company we can not know its profitability but their sales force keeps growing so they must have enough profit to fuel growth.
The question of this blog line had to do with Nobel's questionable packaging sterility. I am waiting to see Nobel's public denial.
