Creating new DM positions in Inflammation to promote from within. Finally a place for all these MDP candidates. Need to pump more business out of Enbrel with all the competition. New Business Model.
Less reps under each DM means more micromanagement.

This is crazy talk. the company could do away with 1/2 the DMs and save a ton of $. 1 DM should be managing 12-15 reps. Shit, drop DMs all together and just have an RSD manage the business and hold people accountable. This industry is spoiled by middle management. what other industry has high six figure managers babysitting six figure sales execs on 2 day field rides every month. I love my DM and wish no ill will, but seriously...not a neccessary role. have a DM manage 15 people and roll out initiatives/filter bullshit. doing it for 8 people is crazy town.
