New Bonus Structure

The new bonus structure looks like this: your bonus is you are still employed!

The general trend in pharma is to shed more and more people with simple college degrees. The ever-evolving PHARMA guidelines relegate a substantially decreasing ROI for this type of employee. You will need significant (non-University of Phoenix-type) graduate education to maintain a presence in this industry in the future. This is simply the evolution of this marketplace. Most of you will have to go back to the hotel industry or selling mass market consumables.

Your post might as well say "Hi! I'm a giant douche and I like to insult pharma sales people because I have nothing better to do with my time." Your generalizations about the previous work experience of pharma sales people shows how little knowledge you actually have about the industry and in particular reps who work at this company. Many of the people I work with have advanced degrees ranging from finance to pharmacology. That's OK though. You keep thinking you're special because that's what your momma told you. Dickhead!

Dear D-Bag ,

What will happen to someone like you who got cut several years ago and could never get back into the industry? I assume you will still be driving your POS car, living in small apartment with your wife that has been sleeping with a drug rep on the side for years now.

Forget it, you are not worth my time.

Alas, the first in the 5 stages of dying (Kübler-Ross model) is denial. As you get through the stages you will end up at acceptance (if you have enough time).
