New Ashfield SPIRIVA reps? WTF?

I really fail to see how placing another 75 or so reps to hawk Spiriva is going to make any difference to anything. I would suspect we would need about 250-300 to really make a difference. Or am I mistaken on the final headcount number?

Wow that sounds like a great plan! Ashfield can sample with the best of all the leftover BI delivery people. Heck UPS gets more FaceTime with the office than both of groups combined.
Ashfield will reserve the Stiolto access for BI!

so lets recap what's going on here. Two years ago GTM /Transfomation started. Top executives either left the company or were asked to leave. Now what is BI left with. BI systematically got rid of their top talent or that top talent was smart enough to go elsewhere. BI is left with employees that either were too lazy to look elsewhere or waiting to retire and collect an easy paycheck. But, the Company is suffering with no real talented leadership and they are floundering as all products are suffering. Do you really think contract reps really care about this or any company. Why would they be dedicated to any company. A nice paycheck that's about it. Good luck to any of these Company's. You get what you pay for!

All true. BUT. I think you have it in the wrong order. All of this happened because we have bad products. The changes in our people is because of our products. It is not that the changes in our people have caused this. No one can make stiolto a good product. Top talent doesn't go to companies with the worst products. Top talent doesn't get retained by companies that have the worst products.

I am on the diabetes side now, but I used to be respiratory. People who actually used Stiolto thought it was awesome. Patient response was exceptional. It is not a bad product, it is a product poorly marketed. It is too bad if the reps have internalized this and come to believe that the product is actually no good. We are bound to do poorly in diabetes too if we follow the company direction on launch messaging.

You're so naive it's hysterical. The product doesn't work any better than what they've been doing for the last 15 years. Spiriva + Advair/Symbicort. Great, the guidelines say LAMA/LABA. Guess what. SPV+ LABA/ICS is STILL (as in Dec. 2016) the most favored regime for copd by a ratio of 5:1. Thankfully we don't need your opinion, we have sales$ #s. Guess what they show. ~50 Million YTD, 37% to goal. NO it's not a good product. It's crap. You know how we know that? Because of those #s. PS. the gsk triple is targeting 500 Million in it's first year of launch and 700 Million by it's second year. Get out of Resp. while you can. Stiolto is never going anywhere, Spiriva is going off Patent, and we have nothing else in the pipeline. It doesn't take a genius to see more layoffs are on the way.

Game over for me,,,, just launched Bevespi already talk of the town! I do believe well informed pts are driving interest, followed by docs.

Options you are going to have either now or in the future:

SPV Respi (NO superiority data over HANDI) + (LABA/ICS)
(Incruse), btw Incruse is now The Only LAMA option on a # of plans, SPV is cash + (LABA/ICS)
Incruse Mono.
Tudorza
Bevespi
Anoro
Stiolto
(SPV HANDI) + (Advair) or (symbicort) or (breo) [Note: no one will get paid on SPV HANDi, even though the company will make 1 billion in 2017 on it].

GSK Triple

In the future, AZ's triple

in about 2 years Generic SPV + Generic Advair. Managed Care will require this first.

And yet, what do we get from BI? There's no need for a triple. We are so clueless, it hurts. There's tons of options out there, with more to come. Lots of cheaper options. Keep in mind there's nothing to show Stiolto is better than many of these options.

It's over when SpV goes off patent folks. GTFO while you can.

Seems only one option is the right choice for you snowflake.... Leave! Or stay put and keep telling your boyfriend, life's unfair!

You BI reps are so worthless! Lincare reps nationwide continue replacing your long acting anticholinergic with qid iprat

the rep that is the chronic complainer is what's wrong with BI. This guy never leaves his house to work, because he's "the victim". And he'll play the victim until he finds a job where he won't have too work hard selling (the #1 product) and until the mrkt leader starts losing share. Then he becomes a victim again. PJ-boy could man-up and voluntarily leave, but he won't, he can't. He's miserable but BI is the best job he's ever had. The best job he will ever have!

Lemming, you are so clueless it's always impressive to read your posts. Granted, you know absolutely nothing about business and show off just how young and naive you truly are, but it's still entertaining to listen to your uneducated ramblings. I mean, don't let little things like facts, #s, or reality stop you. Just keep following that titanic all the way tot he bottom of the sea like a good little sheep. Never question anything. People could point out that the NATION is at 37%. Soooooo....I must control the entire nation then? Wow, I'm like a GOD! I could point out that I've been in president's club in 2 different companies for 2 different products, but you'll just think of some other excuse to fit your argument. So if I was "the problem", it's odd that I took 2 different products to top 5% in the nation....but that wouldn't fit your narrative would it? To admit that would mean......There's something wrong with ..... Stiolto?! NO NO NO!!!! NEVER ADMIT THAT.....EVER!
Or pesky people could display that Ellipta is favored over Respimat 3 to 1. Or that Anoro has preferred treatment nationwide by an enormous %. Or that GSK hasn't even launched their triple yet. But why bother pointing any of these things out, when we can just blindly ignore reality and sales data. Hell, we have the #1 pharma product in the world. It must be, to say anythign less would just be playing "the victim".

You've effectively made the case to be replaced by mailers, direct to consumers and robo calls. You've finally sold something, congrats!
