Never have seen a rise and fall so fast

Took them 2 years to dismantle a once good company to work for, one where the sales force started as an "idea" in 2001. An idea to expand a successful generic company's portfolio to include some branded products. Branded products who were in the sunset of their years that companies like Novartis no longer wanted. It worked. It wasn't perfect, but the sales force and the sales management grew together. The sales force felt valued and needed. We went out and sold the older products with a new spin and did quite well. We held our own.

The beginning of the end came with the loss of patent on Exalgo and when XXR was introduced to the sales force. XXR and the decision to bring it to marketplace at this time in opioid history is the worst I have ever seen. OxyContin with Tylenol? Why would I use that? With no plan B to fall back on, the sales force had nothing to sell. Shifted to Ofirmev, put into situations where they were perceived to not be wanted or needed. No second product in the bag, no acquisition to give them one, nothing....so they cut them loose.

The rise was 2001-2012. The fall was 2013-2015.

Not gonna lie, I was sad on Friday knowing it was my last day after 4 years with the company. But I'm also relieved that I was let go. This company went downhill fast in the last 12 months and our jobs became unfulfilling and depressing. MNK dangled enough of a carrot to keep us in only to throw us out later like last week's garbage.

Malli just spent $20 something to get back a $10 printer. That sums up who they are and how mean they are. They didn't really want that old printer, they just didn't want me to have it. fu mallincrud

No shit. My printer's been busted since April and my request for a new had been placed "on hold". Obvious now that they didn't want to send a new printer to a soon to be laid off rep. I wasn't surprised that these dimwits paid to fedex my broken printer back. I removed the brand new high capacity ink cartridges before sending back that piece of junk.

Laid off in August and had and OLD ASS printer. Cost them a fortune to get it back. Enjoyed that one.

The height of stupidity. I wonder where all this worthless printers are being stored? They are probably listing them at retail in their balance sheet in order to prop the books for would be buyers. "We don't own our real estate but we have a shit pile of printers that go with the deal!!!" YUK YUK

Wow. I just read your post. That is really pathetic. Every time I have left a company, they never take back the printer because the shipping costs more than it is worth. Be grateful you aren't here. Something better is destined for you.

The best thing that ever happened to me was getting laid off from Mallinckrodt! Just landed literally my dream job today with an amazing pharmaceutical company and a territory that is finally reasonable in size and products the doctors are actually excited about! Honestly if this didn't happen I wouldn't have been looking and I wouldn't have landed in this position. God works in mysterious ways and God is good. I just revisited this site for the very last time because I wanted to remind myself of what I'm not missing with MAllie! There is hope out there people you can do it! Life is too short for all of this negativity.
