Hire candidates with no experience and often young just out of school and get them cheap to save money!! The only problem is some have talent and some are losers. What happens in a year or two the talent leaves and now you’re stuck with a sales force of losers congratulations!! The master plan better be to wipe out that sales force before you have to actually get a product up and moving.

We will fill the vacancy with another mediocre state school graduate.

Yes yes bc your talent and productivity is unrivaled (eye roll).

Why would they pay 50k more a yr for a washout when young ppl are just as good at dropping donuts as the rest of us? Get your head out of your behind and go deliver some Starbies.

The correct way of thinking is to pay more to an aging workforce getting older by the day. That is a great plan for the future of any company.

You boomers need to get off it- why do you care if young ppl are getting the opportunity to start their careers with Takeda? They are just happily taking the job- not coming for yours. Worry about your territory and that 10-2 schedule you are working.

Everyone else made the point perfectly, but I feel the need to pile on-
What is with the entitlement? These kids went to college like we all did in pursuit of a rewarding career. Are companies just not supposed to hire them? Overpaid, grumpy boomers need to retire already. Luckily this is an issue I've on seen with Takeda. The number of ancient reps who have rotted at this company for 15, 20, 25 years is laughable. Your peers have surpassed you in ambition and salary years ago by leaving. Stop taking your bitterness out on this new generation.

lol to thinking its the young reps that make this a sales force of losers

The biggest problem here is not the reps. It’s the box checking loser managers. Totally worthless and bring nothing to the table. They are stealing their pay checks from the company.
