Neuro team got shafted

Came to neurocrine being told bonus was great and great people. Didn’t have a choice to pick Neuro or psych. But believed if Neuro had 2 products, bonus would be as good or better than the psych team. Wrong! How come psych got bonus from the LTC rep’s rx’s? Doesn’t Ltc have a lot of Neuro patients too?. Why did they give the Ltc and the psych rep full bonus and not split it? Why is Neuro paid a lot less when they carry 2 products and are expanding in a field that was undersold? Man. Feel like I was sold a bill of goods. We couldn’t see our data since we were hired. And people complained they hadn’t seen it all year. Then we saw it for a flash and it was removed. I just feel the numbers are off and bonus structure is weak on the Neuro team compared to the other teams. Not sure the move here was my smartest decision. Seems they favor the old team and not the new ones hired to make a difference in Neuro.

Sorry you had a bad quarter. It hurts when it's a 4 month quarter and the potential is there to make some coin but you don't hit sales quota. Bonus is great if you're above goal. My advice, do better. I'm sure your access to neuros are great and you will "make a difference" this quarter...

Thanks Coach, now you can blow me. This place sucks and isn't getting any better. Too much favoritism to try to deal with and the good ole boy network will only take care of their own.

I’m also new here, on the psych team, it’s no different for us. Yes, they paid us at bonus but all of us were promised much more. Everyone is working hard but it doesn’t seem to be reflecting in the data. They do favor the old team members far more then new hires on the psych team as well. We will continue to be at a disadvantage, in a number of ways, as new hires.

Sounds like you either had a bad quarter or it’s time to dust off that resume. Tons of recruiters out there. Go make your money someplace else if you feel so cheated.
 




































No need for you tools to be arguing. I would agree with the original post that the numbers seemed off. The dic calc was down for the entire qtr. we didn’t know our goal. Still don’t know for 3rd qtr and we are more than half way through. This is not how my last company worked. We knew our numbers and our goal. We have no idea how they compute closed door pharmacies. They should be sharing ltc rx with both Neuro and psych. It just seemed like a bit of abra cadabra decision on numbers to many.
