I'm sick of this F-ing company. I want to leave but my
driving record is not the best. My license was suspended and
reinstated a year ago but had 2 no fault accidents within last 4
years. How much do you think this will hurt me in my job hunt
elsewhere?
 






Why was your license suspended? Thats the key question. Otherwise many companies are getting away from cars and are doing car allowances. The burden of higher insurance falls on rep.
 






with all of the tenured reps laid off in the past year, many who can show years of success in this industry AND have a clean driving record - why would they hire you over them??

If you must leave, look for a desk job - inside sales.
 






Even with car allowances they want a good driving record. I have been interviewing, and they still ask. Don't know why. Maybe in case they go to fleet cars again in the future? sign of your integrity? A way to pick someone over you? Who knows. It is so cut throat. I quit a pharma job to relocate, and it has been 2 years and no job. It is that bad. And that is with a really good track record, clean driving record, etc. It is very scary.
