New to the forest family and I'm a single guy in a territory where I can get everything done in my day in 3-4 hours. What do people do to stay busy? This is very strange, was told this job was so stressful and hectic but there's really nothing to do. Just asking around for ideas...
 






Go to a Panera or Starbucks for about an hour between sales calls. Work on anytime of admin, be an overachiever and run territory and prescription reports for your manager and pod mates. If anyone wants to know what you are doing during those time frames, pretend you are making pharmacy calls.

Use the time to get your admin done. As you are in the job longer it will pile up. You will have a million discount cards, samples and receipts piled up. Use that down time to do it. It is still work and you are on the clock. Or you could spend 10 hours on that stuff on a Saturday afternoon.

Hit the gym, golf course, get to know your contract partner you co-promote w/ (she'll be the one that's between 22-24 yrs old)....invite her to your storage unit and show her around, then bend her over a box of your samples....that's always good for at least an hour a day!

That a great idea! My storage unit is climate controlled so we can have a good ole time for a few hours a week. Maybe Monday, Wed. and Friday to start. I just filled my Viagra script so I'm good to go for a few weeks. thanks for the advice!
 






























This was my biggest issue as a new rep, there was nothing to do. You can easily get your calls in so like everyone said, go to starbucks and kill time on the internet or go home. I quickly learned, no one here works a full day but they make themselves sound super busy and stressed.

Admin piling up hahaha what kind of admin, once a quarter sample counts, expense reports, and what? Keep your receipts together and you can do expense reports quickly, answer the few random phone calls you get confirming lunch and breakfast, plus the one or two pointless DM emails you receive every week.

Easiest job in the world, ride it out.

Agreed, but I so would love to tie my manager up in the trunk during those awkward two day ride alongs!

Yeah, because the female reps (or managers for that matter) are so moral and innocent!! Ha! The handful I know and/or have "been" with are as dirty or worse than any guy rep out there! "Come meet me at my storage unit!!!" "Come meet me at my house while my husband is out of town!" While at POA's...."Come to my hotel room while my roommate is out getting wasted!!!" Sorry, but that's only the truth! From my "experience"....Hello Carolina region....or the whole MidAtlantic and South for that matter!!!

My DM is a sexy younger blonde who ALWAYS on field rides w/ me keeps her shirt unbuttoned very low and loves to do my "sample count" often, usually doing it twice on both field day ride alongs! Is that normal?!?! And when i'm off on my sample count she makes me bend her over my samples and give her my homemade "whip cream"! She says i have the "largest" amount of samples she's ever seen! I think i'm her favorite so far!

Well you are one VERY lucky A-hole! Cause my DM is an older micro managing slob w/ saggy boobs! i WISH she would wear MORE clothes...like up to her neck (or "chins") and down to her cankles! What region are you in to have that hot of a DM???
