Not sure, unions are a dying breed in main part because they are highly political, many times not reflecting the viewpoints of their members but those of their leadership. The union exists to support the union not the employees. There was a time in our country where they were necessary but no longer are needed and currently exploit the taxpayer, the company, and the individual worker.

We need a union at Sapa Extrusion in Delhi Louisiana. We are an aluminum extrusion plant and they work us and treat us like dogs... under paid for the work we do... we are tired of supervisors cussing and yelling all the time. HR department is a joke when it comes to our side... please help... need a union rep asap...come see the hell we go through everyday...
