NE 2011 wrap up

Lets see 2011 was a banner year for the northeast division. Let me start this recap thread.

Mr haas returned fresh off running his startup into the ground. Cancerdx, no one could replicate your bs science. He started showing off his far hills mansion days after he moved in. Get a clue bill, the size of your house does not make up for the size of your dick. We all know you came crawling back to lca after your disastrous try at starting a company. Who the hell leaves a company as an evp and returns at a lower rank? You do. You talentless fuck. Please remember this, you will never be CEO of labcorp.

Ken sprague promoted to vp of sales. What a joke. His title should be vp of agreeing with Haas. Sprague not only has no clue how to run a sales team, he has no clue how to even wipe his ass. Ken, I wonder if your kids know how much a pussy you are. If your kids could only see you bow down and kiss the ring every other tuesday (the only day you are in nj) The only reason you are still the vp of sales is because your boss is an egomaniac who is afraid to admit he made a mistake.

Elke promoted to vp. I guess having a gastric bypass and being ugly as sin is now qualification to become an officer of a fortune 500 company. She spends more time playing words with friends than actually working. So glad the company pays to put you in a hotel every week, they should pay for a skin lift so we don't have to look at your excess skin in the dunk tank next year. Please retire. No one can stand you.

Germaine fired. Yes. Couldn't have happened to a nicer person. All I can say is what comes around, goes around. Karma is a bitch, just like you.

Please...it's as if you are surprised. These are the types of re-treads and submissive do-nothings you get when you don't compensate in accordance with competitive industry standards. That NE Div is riddled with washed out has beens who couldn't get a job elsewhere. Oh it's not for lack of effort, it's simply that nobody wants them. Raritan is the Island of Misfit Toys! They're stuck and have no options so they deal in fear and intimidation as a mgmt style. Its a Who's Who of pathetic hacks.

I hate to said naive and trite but why the hell do you complain about these people. I don't know them or report to them but are you an at will employee. Go find another job with management that inspires you. This post is vicious and crude and as much as your rant makes you feel better because it's anonymous will it really change your situation?

Enjoy!!!!! Here is your 2011 "Wrap Up"!!!!!!

The Senate request also references a lawsuit filed in New York, which alleges that LabCorp violated the federal Anti-Kickback law and overcharged Medicare and Medicaid.

The Anti-Kickback law forbids health care companies from directly or indirectly remunerating other parties to encourage them to order any service or item federal health care programs might pay for. Businesses violating the law can’t participate in the Medicare program.

The lawsuit — filed in August by Andrew Baker of NPT Associates, a lab company, on behalf of the federal government — accuses LabCorp of making a deal with UnitedHealth Group to provide cut-rate testing in exchange for becoming its exclusive in-network lab partner. The suit claims LabCorp charged UnitedHealth Group “one-third to one-half of the prices paid by Medicare for the same services” and as little as one-sixth of prices paid by private payors.

“These commercially unreasonable prices constituted remuneration paid to UnitedHealthcare in order to induce UnitedHealthcare to arrange for or recommend that their in-network physicians send their Medicare-reimbursable tests to (LabCorp),” the suit says.

The suit claims a 2007 contract between LabCorp and UnitedHealth Group stipulated that LabCorp would pay the insurance company up to $200 million during the first three years of the 10-year contract to cover any extra costs incurred by the insurer under the deal.

“LabCorp believed that the contract with UnitedHealthcare, including the expected ‘pull-through’ would generate additional revenues of $3 billion and that without the pull-through the contract would result in substantial losses,” the suit claims.

The suit also claims that Medicare reimbursement made up about $1 billion of its $5 billion annual intake in 2010.

The suit requests a jury trial to determine whether LabCorp was involved in Medicare fraud and asks for an injunction against LabCorp filing any more false claims with the government. The suit also requests that LabCorp repay the United States government damages equal to three times the amount the government sustained as well as substantial civil penalties.

Happy New Year to all of the Staff and their Families at LabCorp!

Enjoy your new abode after the trials are concluded!

Morons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They will just get a speeding ticket and its back to business as usual. A Jury trial in New York might be a problem, though. Justice Dept at the federal level is is a toothless tiger. Eric Holder would rather spend taxpayer money closing down medical marijuana shops.

The N.Y.S Justice Dept will rip you guys a new one at a jury trial!!!!!

Oh and by the way they always throw in a little jail time, like about 20 -30 years!!!!!

Enjoy the New Year Ass-wipes!!!

This why your NY reps ran for the hills after their depositions!!!!!

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

come on RM are u really holier than tho? you are just more sneakier

The OP has this right. The NE division has become nothing but a place to park people who have failed at everything else they have done. Look no further than Haas. He fought his way up the ladder at LCA, left as a EVP, had big stock options, salary, bonus, ect. He leaves, runs a company into the ground, then comes crawling back only to take a position he held 10 years ago. That is truly sad. His current position is at least 2 pegs lower than when he left.
