Welcome to WEEK 7 of NCAA PICK EM! 14 Games posted this week. We have some good rivalries this week like the RED RIVER RIVALRY! The TEXAS STATE FAIR! I have always wanted to go to the TEXAS STATE FAIR and get some fried butter and fried Kool-Aid! "OOOOOH YEAH!!!"-Kool Aid Man

DIRECTIONS: I have attached and posted the USA Today Odds for these 14 games and chose the "average," of all of the different odds making services that USA Today endorses. Please choose wisely and see if you will be the NCAA COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICKER for the week. This is only for bragging rights!

SUMMARIZED RULES:


1) Pickers who elect to remain anonymous are welcome, but must adopt an unregistered sport's board name (ie. BroncoBoy) to get due recognition for your picks. Please identify yourself with each post.

2) During regular season play all picks will be based on the "odds" or the "point" system reported by USA Today (SportsDirect) prior to the week's games. The "points" recognized will be the "points" displayed on posted "Pick-Em" schedule that will available for viewing 3-4 days in advance of the week's games. Should the "point" spreads change after the "Pick-Em" schedule is posted - the revised "points" shall not apply.

3) YOU CANNOT EDIT YOUR PICKS & POSTS BEFORE GAME TIME!! You may pick a Thursday Night Game and make the rest of your picks before 11:00 AM SATURDAY EASTERN TIME!!

4) Not all NCAA Div. 1 games will make the weekly "Pick-Em" schedule. Only those major games of interest. We are going for quality here. Not quantity. Games with a 21 "point" spread or greater are highly discouraged. If a picker wants to add an unlisted game contact the interim coordinator BroncoBoy.

5) All pickers shall show respect and courtesy toward their fellow pickers (BRONCOBOY!). A competitive spirit is fine. But let's keep it clean and be friends. We don't want to evolve into vitriol and mean spiritness that got the poli board shut down. Be nice to one another.

6) In the event of a board dispute on operational matters - all disputes will be resolved by the majority. There are no kings or queens on this board who have the final say. We are a democracy - and the majority rules. If the majority is only 2 people - so be it.

7) Post-season play (bowl games) shall be based on straight picks and NOT the "point" system used during regular season play.

OK, if I am picking Texas to win, and they are showing +14, they have to keep the score within 14 points if they lose. They can win by 1 point or they can lose by up to 14, which would be a push.

Just add 14 to the TEXAS score.

If OKLA is ahead 21 (OKLA) - 7 (TEXAS), then the line score is OKLA 21 - TEXAS 21 and that would be a push. If OKLA is ahead 21 - 8 (TEXAS) then the line score is OKLA 21 - TEXAS 22 and TEXAS wins the bet.

I wonder where some of our players have gone? If you players are out there and want to come back you are more than welcome to at any time.

So what about those upsets this week? Stanford goes down to UTAH? I did not see that one coming.

Mizzou finally proves that they can play "old man football," in the SEC by knocking off a beaten up Georgia team.

Texas beats the hell out of Oklahoma at the Texas State Fair? Will it be enough for Mack Brown to keep his job a little longer.

Clemson struggled against Boston College? Was Clemson looking ahead to FSU this next week?

Will Oregon be ranked #1 next week after the BCS standings come out? Quite frankly I hope they are. If BAMA makes it to the BCS National Championship and plays Oregon it will motivate them even more that they are ranked #2. The National Media will talk about how the Ducks will dominate BAMA. Alabama has struggled against No Huddle Hurry Up Spread-Option offenses like Oregon. I think Oregon will beat Stanford and has a manageable schedule the rest of the season.

The Stanford Upset was the best game of the week!!!
The OK upset was a shocker! Texas sucks this year,but you never know.

I don't think Oregon will go to number1 just because BAMA has not lost--- yet. I think Oregon will beat Stanford-- but you never know, Stanford might Surprise them!

I am so excited -- ALL of my teams won this week -- Clemson (although I was really worried), South Carolina, Wofford, and today my Panthers played like they meant it.
