NCAA FOOTBALL Recruiting Rankings!

Oregon has a knack at selecting players with hidden talent and selecting players who add to their team's chemistry. This is obvious by the way they dominated their opponents in 2012/13 and averaged over 50 fucking points a game. heh. Oh, and they don't recruit ex-cons and troublemakers who have a hard time chewing gum and walking simultaneously.

If you took, let's say, the top 20 recruits in 2008 and looked at how they performed in 2012 I bet 1 in 5 turned out to be outstanding college players and the rest duds. So national signing day really ain't all that it's made out to be.

Some of the teams in the SEC would probably bring a convicted murderer or child rapist on board as long as he could run a 4.2 forty and remember the snap count for at least 30 seconds.

Look at the problems Arkansas had last year.

Ok Lagarret Blount.

Arkansas' problem last year, is that they were coached by the biggest idiot in College Football.

I would not trade the Ducks class for any of the so called top 10 classes. Look at the slop FSU picked up and they are ranked 9? These rankings are just another example of media biais. Some kid goes and visits Bama or some other media darling and the unknown punk goes from being a 1 star to a 4 star, not because of what the kid has proven he can do between the lines, but because he went to some po dunk town.

The coach caused all the burglaries, breaking and entering, stolen debit card and dope charges??

Horseshit.

No, but he promotes an atmosphere, that makes this a regular occurence. It has happened everywhere he has been. Granted they were Petrino's recruits, but John L. Dipshit was just collecting a paycheck. Would you respect a coach who says that the University of Arkansas, means a lot to the people of Alabama?

You are totally clueless.

Now I've heard it all. Football coaches are responsible for criminal acts committed by their players.

Total unadulterated horseshit.

Looks Like The Bleacher Report Thinks Oregon's Stock Has Dropped:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-chip-kellys-departure-delivers-blow-to-class

In 2012 Oregon was #16 Nationally in Recruiting. I agree recruiting is not everything but you must start with good raw talent first then coach them up. You can't teach good quality raw talent.

Coach Kelly's departure has not had a positive impact on the Ducks.

Reuben Foster #1 Linebacker Recruit in the Country Did officially sign with BAMA. Here is the timeline of the strange events that happened in his recruitment. This is not a rumor and is actual fact:

1. Reuben Foster is from Lagrange Georgia and first Verbally Committed To Georgia

2. Reuben then took a recruiting trip to Tuscaloosa and Verbally Committed To Alabama

3. Reuben then moved to Auburn, Alabama to play his senior season at Auburn Highschool

4. Reuben held a press conference and verbally committed to Auburn this past Fall. Before the press conference he got a huge AU logo (I HOP Pancake Size) on his forearm. During his press conference he dressed his 3 year old daughter up as an Auburn Cheerleader to reveal his pick.

5. Reuben de-comitted from Auburn after Coach Chizik and Trooper Taylor (Thug POS-Wide Receivers Coach) were fired.

6. Just this past weekend Reuben was in the Auburn Locker Room for the final recruiting weekend. Auburn Center Reese Dismukes got into an altercation with Reuben and called him the "n word." Reuben immediately left Auburn and drove to Tuscaloosa.

6. Reuben held his final press conference yesterday and dressed up like Coach Saban (straw hat/vest) and signed his letter of intent.

I agree with the guy that says recruiting is somewhat overrated. Case in point....Lane Kiffin. He managed to turn top 3 recruiting classes into a 7-6 trainwreck.

You need players...but you need coaching too.

So if the kids come in troubled why is it a coaches fault when they commit crimes? Can the coach control what they do after they leave the playing field? Is he supposed to monitor them 24/7?

You folks are really fucked up. I have no idea how you come up with this shit.

I bet you still blame Bush for what's happening today in America, doncha? :D

I hope that you are not the same anon who was ripping on Urban Meyer when some Florida players were getting in trouble.

No, a coach cannot be responsible for players 24-7. A player can be a stand up guy, a leader, etc. on the field and a hoodlum the rest of the time.

That is the biggest bunch of bullshit I have ever seen on here. You can't be stand up on the field and a leader and then a thug off it. You are what you are...

Pretty strong statement for an incorrect one. People are very good actors. There are examples of fake leaders all over the place. OJ Simpson, Kirby Puckett, Pete Rose, Brett Favre, Lance Armstrong, Roger Clemens, Jim Tressel, Joe Paterno, etc etc etc. The list could go on and on. Haven't you been paying attention?

SHUT UP stop pointing fingers and look at yourself. what list are you on?
