SUMMARIZED RULES:

1) During regular season play all picks will be based on the "odds" or the "point" system reported by YAHOO (SportsDirect) prior to the week's games. The "points" recognized will be the "points" displayed on posted "Pick-Em" schedule that will available for viewing 3-4 days in advance of the week's games. Should the "point" spreads change after the "Pick-Em" schedule is posted - the revised "points" shall not apply.

2) You can only edit your picks before 12:00 AM Saturday Eastern Time for Saturday Games. You cannot edit picks for games already in progress!

3) Not all NCAA Div. 1 games will make the weekly "Pick-Em" schedule. Only those major games of interest. We are going for quality here. Not quantity. Games with a 21 "point" spread or greater are highly discouraged.

4) A Tied final point spread game also known as a PUSH will be considered a "win" for every player.

5) All pickers shall show respect and courtesy toward their fellow pickers . A competitive spirit is fine. But let's keep it clean and be friends.

6) In the event of a board dispute on operational matters - all disputes will be resolved by the MODERATOR:BAMABOY

7) Post-season play (bowl games) shall be based on straight picks and NOT the "point" system used during regular season play.

I double checked all posted spreads! The UTAH VS. SOUTHERN CAL -3 game is correct! SOUTHERN CAL is GIVING 3 points.

It is kind of strange since UTAH is undefeated. Maybe Vegas knows something we don't?

WEEK 8 ANNOUNCEMENT!

I edited the Pick Em for this week. Instead of Washington State Vs. Arizona I substituted it for Texas A&M VS. Ole Miss.

The line was delayed for some reason and was not posted until now?

Consider this factor, USC got rid of a drunken mess for a coach. The team is more than likely out to prove something this game. At least that's my take. Special circumstances sometimes override common sense and odds.

I'll never forget OJ Simpson's last NFL game - 35 years ago. He was with the 49ers who had only won one game all year (they were 1-14 at the time). It was the last game of the season and well publicized as the last game of his career. The line was heavily against the 49ers. I was betting a lot of cash on NFL games each week that year (young, single, in a business producing a lot of cash/cash) and my betting buddies subscribed to a tout service and advised me to go down heavily on the niners and take the points because it was OJ's last game (remember - at that time he was worshipped). Well they lost the game but beat the spread and I won $2000 which is the most I had ever (and will ever) bet on a football game.
There was one pissed off bookie that game because 5 of us took the niners, took the points and went down between 1000 and 4000 dollars - LOL! Never again, those were the days, young, dumb an full of c*m. Now, knowing what I know about Orinthal, I sometimes wonder if Vegas had something to do with that final score.

BAMABOY WEEK 8 FINAL THOUGHTS:

I really cannot believe another Kick 6 happened again! After seeing the whole Jameis Winston debacle unfold at FSU I love seeing them lose.

MIAMI just fired AL Golden today after they got waxed by CLEMSON 58-0! MIAMI will never be the program they were. It's a small private school and under the microscope of the NCAA.

This past week a local College Sports Radio Analyst here in Birmingham told everyone the easiest money to make this weekend was to pick SOUTHERN CAL to beat UTAH. I am so happy I listened to him. I must admit I did not understand that line when it was posted but obviously Vegas knew something was up!

Congrats to VAG and TINK! Hopefully Fuckie will be back this week for the HALLOWEEN PICK EM!! Thanks for playing everyone!

Personally, I think the SC players have been energized getting rid of their old coach and out to prove something. I didn't even hear anyone on it but it seemed like a no brainer. They're a m to watch closely (especially as far as the spread goes) for the rest of the year (IMHO)
