Welcome to WEEK 3 of NCAA PICK EM 2014! This is a slower weekend for College Football. ESPN Gameday is in Fargo, ND so you know the slate of games is not as good. South Carolina Vs. Georgia looks like the biggest match up. It's College Football so we will take it!

DIRECTIONS: I have attached and posted the USA Today Odds for these 14 games and chose the "average," of all of the different odds making services that USA Today endorses. Please choose wisely and see if you will be the NCAA COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICKER for the week. This is only for bragging rights!

SUMMARIZED RULES:


1) Pickers must now adopt a registered name.

2) During regular season play all picks will be based on the "odds" or the "point" system reported by USA Today (SportsDirect) prior to the week's games. The "points" recognized will be the "points" displayed on posted "Pick-Em" schedule that will available for viewing 3-4 days in advance of the week's games. Should the "point" spreads change after the "Pick-Em" schedule is posted - the revised "points" shall not apply.

3) You can only edit your picks before 12:00 AM Saturday Eastern Time for Saturday Games. You cannot edit picks for games already in progress!

4) Not all NCAA Div. 1 games will make the weekly "Pick-Em" schedule. Only those major games of interest. We are going for quality here. Not quantity. Games with a 21 "point" spread or greater are highly discouraged.

5) All pickers shall show respect and courtesy toward their fellow pickers . A competitive spirit is fine. But let's keep it clean and be friends. We don't want to evolve into vitriol and mean spiritness that got the poli board shut down. Be nice to one another.

6) In the event of a board dispute on operational matters - all disputes will be resolved by the majority. There are no kings or queens on this board who have the final say. We are a democracy - and the majority rules. If the majority is only 2 people - so be it.

7) Post-season play (bowl games) shall be based on straight picks and NOT the "point" system used during regular season play.

I also erased any mention of BroncoBoy since he is no longer playing and Boise State has returned to the land of College Football Mediocrity..

It does not count as a loss but if there is a tie at the end of the season the player who picked more games will pass the other player if they have the same amount of correctly picked games.

I bet on Penn State vs Rutgers. The line was Rutgers +3. The score was Penn State 13 and Rutgers 10. Add in the line and you get 13 to 13.

How do we count that on our board? Win? Push?

BAMABOY WEEK 3 FINAL THOUGHTS:

WOW! I can't believe I finally won a week of Pick Em! It's bee awhile since I have won a week. So far I have been above 50% this season so I am happy with it.

The Florida Vs. Kentucky game last night was INCREDIBLE! Now the Gators will be coming to Bryant Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa next Saturday. BAMA is a better team than Kentucky but Florida will definitely be the test the Crimson Tide needs.

The Southern Cal Vs. Boston College last night was also very competitive. Boston College is a tough place to win. Lots of teams go up to Boston and struggle. Just look at Florida State. It's never an easy win when they play in Boston.

Virginia Tech getting beat by Eastern Carolina was a real surprise. Seeing Georgia go down to South Carolina was also unexpected. Arkansas played very well against Texas Tech and represented the SEC well.

The Big 10 keeps getting their asses handed to them every week...

Well let's bring on Week 4! I will post the pics early since Auburn is playing Kansas State Thursday Night.

You are being way to kind to SC---they sucked!!! but I blame the coaches more than the players, running the ball up the middle over and over, and getting stopped every time, is not good play calling. Sark got some heat for that! Kessler can through, they should let him.

There were quiet a few upsets yesterday,, and boy did my picks suck!:eek: I got to go back to my old method.
