Navy Seal

I stumbled onto this site while researching this position. I am interviewing for a position also and my background is not the "standard" hire.

I have been doing contract military work overseas and had recently returned home to only be recommended by a good friend in the industry.

I am ex Navy Seal and interviewers were impressed about my medical expertise. "Nothing like having to control your team member's bleeding while shots being fired over you.

The reps on this board say this job is stressful. Does the company hire many ex Special Forces? I can't think of any job being more stressful than my time as a Navy Seal.

What do you current reps think?

Seriously? If you are truly a Ex SEAL why in the hell would you ask these cry babies about the stress of this job? Suck it up and jump in, you will do fine. Don't listen to these entitled trust fund punks.

Why in gods name would you work for this company. If you are indeed an ex-seal, who was not discharged dishonorably then why not stay in the security sector. I have 2 friends who are ex-seals, both doing government contracts for training and security..... making high 6 to 7 figures.

Class starts in may. Everybody on this board just keeps saying this job is stressful so wanted to see others opinions.

Why is everyone on this site so negative and jaded?

The reason is we work for the worst and most unethical company in medical devices. Every job has stress and is hard work if you want to make money.

The negativity and stress here is a result of terrible managers and this "development" mentality, that after 6 years I still cant figure out. Do you really need feedback on how you order coffee?

You learned about honor and courage and never leave a soldier behind. Don't come here. You can do better. I promise.

"Hi I understand your coffee is delicious!"
My research in the area tells me that many people would travel for this coffee. I would loke to partner with you and have a cup.

MGR: "how do you think you did in that role play?
CSR: I think my opener could have been better.
MGR: I like the way you set the terms for the interaction and let him know you knew the area and were able to have an equal business discussion about the coffee.
CRS: Ya but I missed the part about how many people are drinking coffee now and how quickly it has adopted.
MGR: what would you do different?
CSR: I would have stayed at my last company and laughed at you from across the hospital lobby while you had this conversation with someone else!
MGR: We need to talk about your passion.

and on.. and on.. and on........

This was the best quote. Ever.

There's a former special boats guy that is a director up in the northwest. You should search him out and he can give you more of the intel. He's been with Intuitive for nearly 10 years now. In Seattle if memory serves. Good luck and thanks for your service.
