Did anyone catch KG's comments about Omicron spiking in SD in mid-feb....followed by, But we're still going to call in reps from all over the country for the National Sales Meeting. Then TG defends this meeting saying don't worry...we'll be eating lunch outside and you can easily socially distance. How are we supposed to socially distance at the airports and connecting flights? How is Neurocrine going to help us as we inevitably get stranded at an airport because of flight cancellations? What if we get Covid during the meeting (since the spike is apparently happening while we're there?) Will we have to quarantine in some hotel room for 5 days? I'm not feeling the "family" vibe with this decision. Shame on you Neurocrine. Not feeling very valued with this decision. Bad message to send to your reps.

Think your logic through. We are watching companies lay reps of because of the very thing you are saying as the move to a stay at home virtual sales force. For example: Pfizer yesterday. Laying off people and hiring back half to be virtual reps. I point this out because if you are afraid to go to a sales meeting, are you also afraid to visit doctors in clinical settings...every day?
Now, think about a virtual sales force. Do you need local reps? In a virtual setting you can have reps work from anywhere. Which means more competition. More competition means lower salary for reps. Why hire a rep on the east or west coast where cost of living is higher when I can hire reps in certain parts of the midwest or south at 70% the cost? Or maybe hire virtual reps from other countries?
My point is you are openening the door to talking your way out of a job during a time of volatility in an industry that has been volatile for the last 20yrs.

A virtual meeting can't provide the engagement of a F2F. Kev isn't trying to kill us and he certainly doesn't want us taking sick days. Yes, you might get sick but your not going to die. Some messages need to be unspoken and that doesn't work when we're remote.
Here’s an idea- tell us what division and territory you work. I’m sure we all have friends who would be happy to take your plane spot to go to a meeting and WORK! You are a disgrace

The freaky ones at the last meeting were all from the NE. They have been pent up since way before Covid and are usually ready to rock. I hope the name badges are state specific and not by area or region. I will specifically be looking for some fine Italian Jersey or NY tail. The trashier the better.
