Narcolepsy Drug

May we be factual for a moment? According to data on the Narcolepsy Network, a 501c3 support group, there are only 200,000 people in the United States suffering from this disease. 3 million worldwide. Contrast that to the number of people suffering from MDD. This drug will be an orphan drug. There is no way it will support a sales staff of over 250. Looking back, Provigil was a great drug but never had any formulary coverage and didn't go anywhere. Providers liked getting samples because it helped them stay alert and focused. They'd use their samples for driving long distances on vacation or for being sharp when they had to take their boards. A narcolepsy drug alone will not save 250+ jobs. I'm sorry for all us.
