Nancy's remarks in PDI Newsletter

She talks about women should be more aggressive and ambitious and climb the corporate ladder. Nancy, please have a discussion with your recruiters. Many reps want to go to the dedicated side, work full-time, and want to interview for DM Positions, etc. PDI keeps hiring from the outside and does not promote from within. Also she talks about being mentored. I have never seen any rep at PDI groomed by a DM. All I get are threatening emails from DM'S and RM'S.

PS Have a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

I can not afford to drive to Grandma's House, too many Tamiflu reps were hired and I have no where near the amount of calls I had last year

Yes, I agree. Current PDI reps who want dedicated positions should have first opportunity. The rest of the reps are happy working part-time for flexibility. Current PDI management doesn't understand the CSO model. Nancy and other management team treat us like we are full-time salaried and should do conf calls and most admin without getting paid. Please, $2.50 per call doesn't cover it.

Hopefully a better CSO (Publicis) will buy us out and trim the fat at the top. AKA America's old buddies.

Threatened managers who want to keep their jobs will never support others in their career endeavors. I know of a PDI-Ferring manager who should never be in her role but is an example of what PDI promotes--unethical, incompetent, insecure women managers. The smart, ethical women are a threat to management and won't be hired.

I am sorry but that is just not true. I am a former manager with PDI and I personally groomed at least three people for management roles that eventually got them. The ups and downs of CSO jobs and company business is not new. PDI has gone through this for many years as have the other CSO companies. None of them are immune.
