My manager has lost it

We are 3 weeks into the new year and he is already threatening us that we are all going to get fired if we all don't hit our number. 3 weeks!! We need some fresh new ideas rather than old beach wood.

Your manager is not a leader. Anyone can manage by fear. No strategy for your team? Maybe the company is failing so no one has a strategy. Or PBG only wants bootlickers, not thinkers. 97, 101 and 88 doesn't average to 100. Who's accountable? The President, VP, or Directors? If it's all about blaming the reps the boys club is as strong as ever.

I wonder why that manager waited so long ? They should have had a regional get together at the National Sales Meeting and all said goodbye to one another. Most of you will probably not make it to the second-half of the year, management included.

You people are not very smart. Your days are numbered.

You are doomed. Start looking Now.

New Numbers have not posted for this year dbag

It's hilarious how nerds try to stir up some crap. I bet they don't post after 11:30 PM. Why? Because they have better things like beating off skinamax.

Another post mentioned how some of us got walking papers because of the merger, when the merger itself hasn't happen. Peeps, news flash... It's not a done deal, and when its done, things won't happen for at least a couple of years. You don't snap a finger and re-align stuff.

I'm might be crazy, blind, whatever... But I'm psyched for this. My only concern is the comp plan, which is key.

Wow, stupid is as stupid does.

"My only concern is the comp plan, which is key."

I'm sure the company appreciates team players like yourself. You know, real Macho achievers. . .

You're worries will most likely be just beginning. The only key you'll have to worry about is avoiding the Repo Man when there is

No comp plan at all.

Bye bye.

From what I heard, half the salesforce is on a PIP. Looks like the writing's on the wall for anyone below quota. Gotta slim out the team to make room for the merger.

That's weird, when 70% of the sales team made the year, how would 50% (as you say) be on a PIP?

Not to steal a quote from one of the worst presidents of the US...Ever! Sounds like fuzzy math to me...

Dental implant sales isn't supposed to be a lifetime career, its a stepping stone to bigger and better sales or management jobs. Its sad when you see people people who have stayed in the same position for over 10 years and don't have the drive to look for a better paying job. Especially the sole supporters of families. Everyone at 3i and Zimmer is at the mercy of the corporate decisions. Instead of whining about pay, praying your job isn't at risk, and drinking the corporate Kool-aid, how about you go and find a better paying job? I know its hard to leave a job where you work 10 hours a week, but your resume won't be worth the paper its printed on when you try to find a new job later in life and you spent 15 years selling implants for basically the same pay. Nobody wants to hire a person that is happy being stagnant in their career for so long. Then, you will really be crying on CafePharma. Think about it kids.
