My experience at BMS - a broken, soulless company

This is more applicable to the office drones in PPK / LVL.

It’s amazing how while working at BMS, you realize how many people hate creativity, even bouncing ideas around totally unrelated to work.

Many BMS employees will get incredibly irritable & hateful. As if having an imagination breaks some rule in the employee handbook.

People actively hate you for not being dead & having some spark & some hope.

The darkness in BMS employees' hearts, they have died long ago. It is okay to be around these people only for short periods, a test of your own spirit.

Honestly, it’s probably better to just keep to yourself. Creativity or intelligence—whatever you want to call it—makes people insecure, especially when it stands out. In most office environments, mediocrity and conformity are the real currency, and anyone who’s different is seen as a threat. If you’re smart and attractive? Forget it. People will get jealous or feel inferior and start pulling away. When you share an idea, all they’re thinking is, “I’m dumb, I’m scared, and I’m about to lose my job because this person’s brain is way bigger than mine.”

Every time you open your mouth, it’s like holding a mirror up to their insecurities, and they just can’t handle it. They’d rather you shut up, blend in, and let them stay in their cozy little bubble of mediocrity.

The truth is, being smart only works in your favor if you’re already at the top—but even then, you can’t outshine your peers or your boss. That’s just how things go. I’ve learned to keep my ideas to myself. I’ve got a million ways to improve this place, but what’s the point? I’ve seen people make mistake after mistake that hurt the company, and every time I spoke up, it only made my life harder. So now? I just keep quiet.

I agree with and relate to the above said, some losers and slakers will also try to ruin your reputation and career by bad-mouthing you because they cannot compete fairly, and this is happening almost at every pharma company..

First learn to spell Slacker. There is no competition business here. It should be a team play. If you survived and are this dunce who has not yet understood what’s going on, don’t worry you will be out soon too. They are probably keeping the idiots for last.

Agree, we all keep quiet and yet collectively we have the answers.

Your days are numbered, with such 'philosophy', attitude and a mind-set you are unemployable outside this shithole, just a matter of time for you
