Muzio

Why do people find the need to always try to tear people down on these message boards.
Takes a big man to do it online anonymously...

Sure gets old.

I agree with you 100%. I just spent a few days with him at training and thought he was a great guy, well prepared, engaged, and was very down to earth. Can't say that about a lot of VP's I've met in the past. But it is really easy to rip someone when you don't have to put your name at the end of a post.

Hard job to have with all the a-hole reps in the West. No win proposition. Many reps will not like a good manager because he is pushing them to perform at a higher rate than they either want to or are capable of. The good reps think they should get more attention and resources, the bad ones want the same. Only so much time to go around. It is 100% commission. Reps should be getting after it everyday like their life depended on it and still they don't or find excuses why their manager is holding them back. He should have zero impact on what they do in the territory day in and day out.

wow! a-hole reps? I guess you do not know the reps that well. (and you don't know me) All I know is Muzio is trying to push a team approach and it is not working. He is treating them like little kids. First you need a leader which he has no interest in doing. It showed on his conference call. No confidence in himself......you can hear it in his voice.

News flash, who cares if he is pushing a team approach? Do you get paid anymore if your "team" succeeds? NO. He may want everyone to be on the same page with common goals but managing type A personalities is very hard to do. You want to hire them, help provide support and get the hell out of the way.

Nice! Well if you are going to quote Simpson then quote him right. He would never go to the level you are in this message. Oh by the way he was not a rep and he was forced out! Stupid move. He was there for the employees unlike Muzio who is there for himself.
At Plan TM in the West out!

Obviously the "Simpson Out" was a joke, but the point is made. And at Plan TM in the West, everyone now knows who you are, there is only a couple of at Plan TM's this year 99% are all way behind plan.

Moberg Out

Face it. The good old days are over. Surgeons are looking for ways to make more money since reimbursements are down and are doing more Nonunion revisions to make money in the OR. Quotas need to be bought down to Earth.

Agree. Seems like the same thing over and over year after year has finally reached the insanity point.

Well most likely stims will go to rental. One of these companies will do it and the rest will follow OR else we will be forced by payers. Then things will pretty much fold. Best hope is to get new products to make up the difference.

Word spreads pretty fast with the surgeons in regards to the problems the bone stim manufacturers are facing, that along with their drive to make more money in the OR has many of us reps looking for new jobs.
