MSK NEURO

Probably not around for long. Weak leadership and representatives in that division. Not needed at all- I could see that division being dissolved into the Neuroscience side.

Are you kidding? They will be selling the new alzheimer's and arthritis agents (pending approval). They are calling on these specialists and getting their feet in the door for the future when the rest of us will be standing in the unenplyment line.

"Pending Aprroval" doesn't say much with this company's track record. The best drug in the world, launched by a cripple company, is not one to bet on.

Probability of technical success for the remaining Phase 3 Alzheimer's drug is probably below 50% at this point. Biologic drugs for arthritis is a crowded field, so not a great outlook for what Lilly is developing there.

The neuro specialty reps sell Cymbalta for pain indications to: Nerologist, Pain Med DR's, and Rheuma's. They hve nothing to do with Evista or Forteo. They are NOT earning their worth but they are building relationships for future launches!!!!!

What a scam. Just wait until patients start overdosing on Cymbalta for their "pain" ... that will be one hell of a class action lawsuit.

That division is a waste and generates little revenue for the company- An entire sales force promoting one medication! They can easily be disolved with private practice psych. Too many divisions, too many reps, too few products to promote- Holding our breaths for new product launches.. really????

Private practice psych not carrying much either. Once zyp is gone in october, just left with cym and maybe strattera. Do they really need that many reps there?

No, they do not. Thus, a bloodbath of cuts still to come, starting Q3 onward. Remember:
MASS LAYOFFS THAT MATTER™
PENDING LAWSUITS AND NEW RECORD FINES THAT MATTER™
CORPORATE INTEGRITY? IT DOES NOT MATTER™

It is very ironic how panicked and sweaty the R&D people are when they arrive at work each morning, losing their hair, feeling their teeth loosening in their sockets, trembling, stuttering, in short, terrorized by intimidation, paralyzed into learned helplessness - and yet, now that you mention it, the freewheeling DMs and VPs condone fraudulent marketing schemes that result in millions, even billions of dollars of fines.

I say, establish a Six Sigma Black Belt Champion Team to identify which areas could benefit from increased risk tolerance, and which areas should be subjected to the "ole second-guess, third-degree treatment"

Its not what they are selling- its who is selling it. Its well known our best talent is in Neuroscience- which is why we "reallocated" people to MSK. Trust me MSK will be one of the first to go and what products they have will be moved over to the people in Neuroscience.

Its well known that our worst managers and representatives are in MSK. That is why it is such a weak run division compared to Neuroscience and Diabetes.

Not sure if true across the company but my MSK overlaps are pretty weak as far as reps go. Most people in my district would agree.

You are so wrong. MSK has some of the most talented managers in Lilly- if anything we steal the talent from Neuroscience. Neuroscience is so old school. Cardio probably has the weakest managers and talent- everyone that was displaced got put there.

MSK and Cardio- Average talent at BEST!! The real problem is their products are crap, crap, crap. Bio Medicines is a farce.. and in deep trouble. Neuro reps are still the strongest, but their pipeline isn't looking much brighter.....

From what I've seen if you are average and send out a lot of messages- then you will be top dog in MSK. Very easy division- must be the direction of the directors. Great place to be- especially if you aren't that good because they don't fire anyone.
