MS layoffs coming







Why? I call B.S. on this post. I know we have a conf call tomorrow but I don't think it is to announce this. Lots of speculation about a Gilenya AE(PML, death??). All heresay....
 




































I don't think they will need to lay off because many will be leaving the first week of January. When the majority of sales is below 100%, new AE's and improvement no where in sight, why stay. If you haven't looked there are many neurology jobs with smaller companies hiring. A recruiter last week told me he has the MS NVS sales list and will be using it to recruit starting 2/1/12. NVS is willing to lose employees for $5-$10k a year in bonus dollars. No one should make under $30k and when the majority is under $30k turnover begins.

It is clear that we will not achieve the results to receive the stock grant in Feb 2013. They made the current plan so the majority will not hit quota. Do you begin to look outside of NVS since the future is not rosy in MS? It is time for management to motivate with money not bait and switch non compete agreements. You need the sales force to be motivated now. What will you do?
