Tech. No offense, but device companies won't look at anybody with 5 yrs in pharma. Good luck.

In device. If you are looking to get into implants, you're most likely looking at an associate position unless you land a capital equipment gig. 22 hours will get you through the weekend. As an associate you can expect 24/7 call and believe me, you will experience 24/7 call. When it's all said and done....if you break it down per hour you will wake up every morning wondering why you left frx. My advice...don't believe what a device guy tells you when it comes to how much they make, the security they have, and the hours they put in. Sure there are some 250-300 folks but those are very few and far between and the last to be making that. Companies just aren't allowing that kind of commission to go out without splitting a territory or taking a distributorship back. It's just like pharma...a dying industry. Go tech. Energy to be exact.

This is BS.

That's not always true. I haven't made below 220 in years and I've never been on call. But I'd still go to tech instead of med device if I could do it over again. Less regulated and more money to be made. Good luck.
