Hi all, may be looking at these companies within next 6-8 months depending on variables at work, wanted to do my homework:

-best comp plan?
-Best products?
-Most freedom/flexibility
-LA specific info (managers, GPO's, territory size)

Background is successful b2b and imaging (contrast/injectors)

Run from Philips. The internal environment is toxic. Lack of support from corporate, they just pass the buck. Service guys are great. Unrealistic expectations are the standard across the board.

Best pay will be derived from growth. Philips is not the place for that. Now a retirement home for has beens. Tosh and GE has the most potential - Seimens depends on modality

GE may have decent products, but I could not imagine myself working there. All 4 companies seem to have their issues:

GE - bad culture, arrogant in eyes of most customers, not easy to work with
Siemens- rigid German mentality, user interface of most products not as sexy as other vendors
Phillips- culture, unrealistic expectations
Toshiba- good products but not on all GPO's, still viewed as risky by very large customers. Toshiba tends to excel in small and mid-sized imaging centers and hospitals.

Of the 4, personally I would choose Siemens. I think they offer the best overall portfolio of products and the best work environment.
