Yardley Insider here: IN 2 WEEKS, AT LEAST 1/2 OF THE REMAINING PFIZER/P4 REPS WILL BE LAID OFF. Reps will only be retained in high-volume Lipitor territories. If you have a low volume territory, plan on being laid off. If there are 3 Publicis reps in your territory, plan on 2 of you being laid off.

Layoffs will happen in 2 weeks. You will be paid through the end of September and get your Q2 bonus payout. If you've been on the contract long enough you will be eligible for unemployment.

A quick mock "thank you" to Publicis leadership for the transparency and professionalism they've shown to all the reps working on the Pfizer contract. Can you believe they took an hour to talk about the contract extension knowing that more than 1/2 the reps would be fired in less than one month?!?

Do you know when and how will reps be notified? How will they decide who stays and who goes? Will it all be based on geography? We should also get Q3 bonus then too paid out in Dec? I can't believe they would have a contract extension call that was all positive and then lay off reps. That is a bunch of crap! They are just trying to get us to stay positive and motivated until the very end.

The anwsers to your questions need to be asked in order of importance. It goes like this. Ask question, pick up and shake black eight ball, wait until white object appears in viewing window. Read anwser aloud. If not happy with anwser you may be instructed to ask again. If you are not happy with anwser ask again anyways. Proceed to your next very important question and repreat process. Hope you find this little excercise handy in your search for any anwsers you may be in search of.

Outsider here. Good luck to all of you guys. Even if you get selected to an additional contract, I hope you continue to search and find something more stable.

This is no way to live. Good Luck

I was in Beth Page in May of 2009 for the initial training with Pfizer. I got sent home because I did not pass the exams. Is this contract still going? Just wondering?
