More Money Somewhere Else = Good Bye and Good Riddance

I resigned today, good bye and good riddance to this dump of a company. I made sure I burned through whatever vacation I had left before I told them. After I gave my 2 weeks they walked me out and will pay me for another 2 weeks. Thanks for the additional vacation morons.

I got more money in another life sciences related company. This company is by far one of the worst companies I have ever worked. The sheer level of incompetence, stupidity, blatant nepotism and cronyism is on a scale that is unimaginable. Lets add an additional helping of DEI for the grand finale.

If you want to get nothing done and throw money away on pet projects that deliver nothing, than go work for Merck. I have never seen a company that was so cash flush yet so incredibly stupid. The only reason they are still in business is that the margins are so big on products that are still under patent. Wait till Keytruda rolls off, than the fun is really going to begin.

I wish the survivors who are still there luck because you are going to need it. More layoffs are coming of course thanks to that idiot accountant CEO.

You will be sorely missed. How will the company function without you?

Who resigns on a Saturday?

Unlike the above posters, I am happy for you. Good that you finally had to courage to look for and get another job. The only way to really make more money is by going to other companies. Plus seeing other companies way of doing business adds to your experience and shows that Merck is not the only way.
Enjoy your new found happiness and wealth. Hope others can follow suit.
