Doesn't make any sense.

Leadership is a complete joke. It should be them who's axed. They are running this division into the dirt.

Sounds like you are part of upper management and the truth hurts.

Are you really trying to say that clueless upper management who have turned everything including the airways and capital merger, territory restructure, McGrath launch, and new vent platform into an excercise in futility are more important than the sales force who are actually generating revenue, rather than wasting it?

Get a clue. You obviously are as disconnected as they are, unless as earlier mentioned, you are part of that goof troop.

Actually, it makes total sense. Covidien is NOTORIOS for laying folks off. They have been buying companies left and right for several years now and each time they buy a company, they restructure the existing company. The sales force gets massacred on a continual basis, every couple of years.

You can look back at the Aspect Medical purchase and then again with the Somanetics take over which turned out to be very hostile. Covidien completely wiped out Somanetics' sales team letting their top performing reps go. It was really insane because most of the Covidien reps were not qualified to sell that type of clinical device. Even crazier, most of them honestly admitted they weren't comfortable selling clinically. The list goes on and on.

If you seek even a little loyalty and stability you won't find it at Covidien because you are totally and completely disposable.
 












I've heard there are now multiple territories where they have merged the APR/AE position. Thats the canary in the coal mine for letting half the force know, start looking else where...
