Another president's club rep fired (SH). That guy worked hard and I hear was awaiting a huge bonus. Now tell me, when a rep like SH leaves, voluntary or not, should that tell you something about this company? They will let you work here for a while, make them alot of money, then get rid of you when it is convenient for them. Evidently SH was expecting around 60k commission, which he will now not receive. My advice, let's get out of here.

Are layoffs coming for Christmas?

1) I'm guessing you do not know how to start a new thread.
2) Why are you posting on a Sunday following a holiday weekend? Pot stirring?
3) Why are you answering your own posts? Need attention?
4) I call bologna on the sincerity of your "Christmas layoff" inquiry. If you had information you would not post a leading question on a thread that has been dead since July.
Layoffs are always a possibility. Mergers, always a possibility. Every business is for sale. Companies change direction. They must. Expansion and contractions. Cost-cutting. The laboratory business is enormously expensive, in optimal circumstances; with slim margins for labs playing by the rules.

thank you management for covering your ass with this information.

I love how all these people at corporate are getting this nice big titles of VP of this VP of that while TSM bust their butts to bring in business and they are still paying us below market value in salaries. Everyone else in the speciality lab market is getting 90+. Big titles...big salaries and our RSD's are worthless. When is a corporate organization going to realize pay reps a great salary and comp plan then the business will role in and make everyone money. Let me be CEO. You need the organization to be a rep centered organization not a CEO or VP who makes our rec forms with a 1/3 of our tests.

back to the original post, yes this really happened, I know all about the situation. SH made a mistake which RV and SR jumped at as an excuse to fire him and not pay bonus. Same thing they did to his prior RSD. They did not know how to handle top performers who dared to rock the boat and challenge their authority. I know both of them and they are doing just fine, and RV and SR are GONE finally. I left a year ago and couldn't be happier. You all need to really look at other opportunities now, there's alot happening and alot of jobs available in pharma and you don't have to suffer at a shitty company.
