More cuts this year.

This is true, here he says that they are almost finished cutting. I can see another 2000 cut sometimes in 2012-13 to get to that $2 Billion in savings number. Remember with sales down the only way to be profitable is to cut, cut, and cut.

Yes, you are right. The bloodbath has not finished. Maybe they will say bye bye to the MS division after the FDA kill of gilena in March.

When the hell are they going to in-license something that is worthwhile for us to sell? Clearly that "pipeline" has dried up...

Brian G- you told us that "in times like this, we want Andy on our side, fighting to get us something to sell in the U.S." But only the opposite has happened. I don't see Andy fighting for any of us; rather quite the contrary. It seems like he is just carrying out the Swiss mission to cut, cut, cut. Yes, there is still some dead weight- the people that barely slipped through during RPP of 2010. But come on... Several people DO still care about their jobs - please give us something to sell and not some throw away-brought-back-again third generation me-too schizo or CV drug.

This will probably happen and here has been news on this subject in Marketwatch, Wall Street Journal, and variuos Pharma news sites. The one stat says there will be another layoff in the fall of arounf 65% workforce with includes sales. This will continue as many Pharma executives say the sles forces will shrink to nothing in a few years. This is the beginning of the end.
