"AP- in a bold cost cutting move several national academic center announced today that they will be replacing all public bathroom toilet paper with Dendreon's white papers. A spokesman at Tulane announced the multiple-center initiative that involves key centers across the country. "These white papers are everywhere so it makes good sense to use them in an appropriate way" said Ron Hunt, hospital administrator at Tulane. Other institutions agree with Tulane's program. "Dendreon's white papers are a hoot! They keep you busy while you're busy and then you just wipe and flush" proclaimed Sidney Nuxoll at Karmanos Cancer Center. "Dendreon has finally figured out how to innovate. Combining comedy and hygiene functionality is not easy but those huckleberries out in Seattle really came up big".

Provenge sales have been less than stellar but this new channel will undoubtedly create opportunity to sell white papers at a premium. A spokesperson for Charmin and Cottonelle said today that this recent announcement will hurt their business in 2012. "We are keeping a close eye on this situation. We know Dendreon has 100 dedicated sales professionals distributing various white papers every day. We can't keep up with their distribution model". Sandro Vitelli, president of Scott paper, has confirmed that the toilet paper mogul is in late stage discussions with Dr. Leonard Gomella on a white paper of their own. "Lenny knows the stakes are high and we must beat Dendreon".

2011 may mark a year where Dr. Mitchell Gold earns toilet paper CEO of the year on top of biotech CEO of the year."

Most of the complaints were about senior management. Almost the entire senior management team has been replaced with highly experience people with good industry track records so this should improve with time. It has also been less than one year since 1/4 of the workforce was laid off so this should have had a negative impacy.

Dendreon's rating is in fact are just a little lower than Amylin, Gilead or Celegene's:

Cons – HR is incredibly indecisive, a majority of managers are blind to group problems leading to a dysfunctional and unorganized work environment. I am leaving as soon as possible and in talks with other companies. I have worked here for a few years, and the beginning was great. However, with the way things have changed, I would not recommend this company to my worst enemies.

Advice to Senior Management – There is no hope for management...sell or start over.
 






You left out the Pro from that reviewer:

Pros – Benefits are better than most companies. The new VP seems to really care about the science community.

You won't being trying to slant everything as negative would you?

Pros – Very nice Company to work for. Co-workers are very friendly and helpful! It is a nice work environment.

Cons – 12 hours shifts are tough but they pay well.

Keep posting the truth. The paid damage control guy here monitoring this board 24/7 will show himself for the fraud that he is. More wasted spending by DNDN. If the HR guy is an example this is probably the highest paid PR guy in the country.

After all, the BOD does have connections to politics and of course polical PR firms. Those firms specialize in lying, distorting and obfuscating which is exactly what you do here.
 






DNDN employees should be careful about what they write here if they have a good opinion of the company.

Anything you say that is positive about the company, he will rebut it. It makes absolutely no difference if what you are saying is 100% true. He will twist, lie, deceive, attribute what you say to other posters to further twist and deceive. His real talent lies in his ability to attack any messenger who has someting good to say about the company. A fair debate is great but he obviously has been instructed to attack, intmidate, lie and twist.

To his credit, he is good at obfuscating and complicating an argument so other people reading the board may not be able to follow. He has been exposed as a liar and continues to post under multiple personalities. He #1 reason for living is to do as much damage to dendreon as possible. He wants to see the company fail and its 1,500 employees to hit the street. He has severe pscychological problems.
 






Going to be entertaining in 10 days when we can show this "finance guy" how total capital has shrunk under the $200M level from the $279M level he is touting. Then he will understand the "financial" concept that real "finance" people understand that accumulated deficit continues to grow as the company continues to lose money and the affect it has on total capital.

Maybe his next post mentions cash to obfuscate, distort and mislead....

Nice try, but it's a discussion board, there is no "he", many posters.

I'd love to hear the positive stuff. I'd like to see the company succeed, if only the management were interested in something other than their own asses...

Why does the PR dept only pay people to assassinate the character of posters and claim there is only one.

Don't they have a budget to post anything positive?

This is a very good sign. I hope the Research money goes up and they get clinical trials going. Years ago, the company claimed a pipeline that would create one new treatment per year. Now, the next thing looks to be years off.
